I'll just leave this here while I go find my shorts and sandals.

Morning guys. Busy weekend, but a good one. DD had a dance recital. Missed the first half of the Pats game because of it, but they were nice enough to wait until the second half to blow out the phins, so I got to see the good parts...

Sorry CJ...

Hope all are well.

Hey guys,

Been off the grid for a little bit due to black plague laying waste to our household. I'm not dead yet, though. I feel better...

CJ, I'm very sorry to hear the news about the dog. Hope your time at the World makes things a little better.

Good Morning from the AFC East Champion Patriots nation! That is 6 in a row. Not done since the 70's.

The weekend hoop games went well. My 7th grade team put a beat down on Saturday winning by 41 points. We were bigger, faster and played a great game. DD team won both games and put up 50 points in each game. Most scored this season. On Saturday, DD was a beast scoring 18 points, 12 rebounds and 6 assists. Sunday she was a little more normal with 8 points, 7 rebounds and 3 assists. Played great defensively both games. I now retire my head coaching duties for the 6th grade team with an unblemished 2-0 record.:thumbsup2 Head coach returns for duty tomorrow.

Hey CJ, did I mention that the Patriots shut out the Phins 27-0 in the second half after playing around with them in the first half. Kind of reminded me of that Animal Planet show where the killer whale tosses the seal around for the first 20 minutes and then finishes it off after a short break.:rotfl2::lmao::rotfl2::lmao:

So do we have an adult beverage on the game? Not that I am expecting them to do anything.

Was never clear, but I'll let you buy me one anyway.::yes:: Hope your feeling better.

Maybe you can get these guys to help carry you.

I'll would have come and pushed you around in a wheelchair?

‘Morning all…
I see ya’ finally got the old thread wacked. I’ll get the stats up this afternoon, but y’all already know the particulars.

Fetched the boy home from school yesterday, just about finished getting the house in order, now it’s just down to wrapping gifts and we’ll be ready for the holidays.

The good news keeps rolling along. Dropped the dogs off at the vet for boarding and had him look at the good dog. She has a growth on her upper right lip. He took one look at it and said cancer. Tough decision to make. He can operate but it would involve removing most of the upper lip and she has a high probability that the cancer will come back. Told DD and she is upset, so am I. Right now our thinking is not to have the surgery. We don't want to put her through that. They are doing blood work and we will see what that reveals.

Tough one there. I’d probably lean the same way. Prayers for the critter and for her keepers.
Enjoy the time at Da’ World.

Monday Morning Ownage!

Two trees cut down, put in there stands and standing in their spots. After a week of rain, they should be dry enough to decorate by mid-week.

We have 2 set up. Both are not of the cutting down type. When the kids were younger it was always off to the farm to cut down a fresh tree. Since my knee bow out we have used the artificial. It certainly is a lot easier. We did promise DD we would get a real tree next year so plans for a weekend away at the tree farm are in order.:thumbsup2

Looking forward to seeing the completed work!

Sorry to hear CJ, Prayers being sent.

TODAY, I had a 9 year old birthday party with the inlaws, FIL had flat tire with my dds in his truck, and siding melted on MIL's trailer from a fire at the trailer next to it. I win.

OK, you win. Not sure you wanted to win this way, but hope the in laws went home, tire got fixed and insurance covers the damage on the trailer.

I can't keep up with all the interweb stuff. I need to hire an assistant

Norm is available.

Saw a coyote but never saw a deer. Only stayed out until lunch and then went to watch my nephews' basketball game. It was frickin cold and windy, even in our blind. Here's a picture of the blind and our hunting vehicle. And I did manage to smuggle out some ground venison, venison sticks and some sweet sausage.

So the score is Deer: 1, Brett: 0.:confused3

It's was a balmy 43 degrees here yesterday. In the high 30's, low 40's today. Almost swimming temps here.:thumbsup2

I had the opposite. Got to watch them limp through the first half and then had a hoop game so missed the destruction in the second half. I heard there was a Gray sighting. Maybe he's finally out of Bellicheck's dog house.

The family did well over the weekend, congrats! Good call in retiring, it's always good to go out on top.

I will post a couple of pictures when the trees are decorated. We should have done it yesterday but DW and I just weren't feeling it, much to DS's chagrin. My only real job is the lights, after that it all DW, DS and DMIL while DFIL and I sit back and joy some form of beverage.

Top O the Morning Dads! Nice to see the good stuff with the kids hoops, dance, swimming and that the ones away at school are back with their families or about to be. Can't complain as we are now under the 2 week mark for Da World and Santa will be here even sooner :santa:

CJ - Hope you are doing better and that Da World is helping ya out as your Phins sure didn't.

Morning all. Conference call scheduled at noon today if Microsoft Outlook converted the Et/Ct thing correctly. If not, then I guess I have a good excuse for missing it. :lmao:

OK, you win. Not sure you wanted to win this way, but hope the in laws went home, tire got fixed and insurance covers the damage on the trailer.

Definitely not. Everything seems to be in working order today and the repairs on the way. MIL didn't stay with us - that's the most important. But, Christmas might be redirected to our house.

Norm is available.
.

For the right price. :lmao:
Thanks for the reference.

Do you like Canadian Bacon?

If it's free, then yes. ::yes:: :lmao:

Have a great Sunday guys - 2 week mark and will be at Da World. Enjoy your trip CJ.

Counting down those days? Room for me?

I can't keep up with all the interweb stuff. I need to hire an assistant

I'm available and work for beer money. :thumbsup2

Norm is available.
.

Another reference. Thanks.

Visit with the in laws was horrible. The levels of stress on the kids was ridiculous. I am at my wits end with these people. Norm, the Makers was put to good yesterday. Thanks again:)

Alcohol. Been creating and solving family problems for years.

Not sure one hunts sausage and sticks, but bravo. Maybe you'll get one next trip.

Looks like your illness impacted the Eagles last night. :lmao:

 Maybe you could go out for dinner? I hear the Chinese places are all happy to make your holiday special.:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

No problem on the reference. Got your back.

It's awful quiet in here for a Monday morning. You guys must actually be working today.:thumbsup2

Taking tomorrow off. Shopping with mom in the morning to get it all done and DS has his first high school freshman game at 3:30PM.

So the score is Deer: 1, Brett: 0.:confused3

:rotfl2::rotfl2:
That's not how it works. That's not how any of this works! LOL.

It's more of a team effort. So amongst our crew, we have taken quite a few deer. The way that I look at ti, I walked away with some venison and will probably get more. What's even better, is that I didn't pay to have the deer processed. It's kind of like walking to the meat section of the grocery store and then helping yourself without having to pay.

:cool1:

CJ - sorry about the pooch. Hope everything works out.

David - sorry about the outlaws. I never like hearing about the kids suffering from family relationships. They always seem to be collateral damage.

Seems like our clan here has hit a rough spot. I came home from hunting with an obnoxious head\chest cold.
FIL went to the hospital today with a fever.
My oldest DDs BFF introduced her face to the pavement on Friday and ended up having oral surgery Friday night. DD was a complete emotional wreck.

Let's hope some prayers and pixie dust can get our luck to do an about face.

I don't think I affected them. However, they definitely made me feel sick all over again last night.

Yikes, that sounds awful. Our family may have had the same virus. I wouldn't wish it on anyone, even middlepat. And I hope your DD is ok. Sounds like maybe that shouldn't be her BFF anymore...ever.
