EXPIRED: Part ONE of 2015 CLUB LEVEL (CL) INFORMATION and HELP Thread DO NOT POST HERE!!!

I a would like to know the same, 58 days away here! We will probably bump into each other at the new lounge :)
that would be awesome. I've never met a diser at wdw before. Out dates are 12-4 to 12-12. What are yours?

We're in countdown mode! Just over 30 days until we arrive for a 40th anniversary celebration for my parents. It's a crazy trip - 2 nights YC CL, 4 nights BWV 2 bedroom and 3 nights at the Swan. I am very uninspired about the Swan, but it's the only Epcot area resort available for the remaining 3 nights of our trip :( My parents absolutely LOVE Epcot and Osborne Lights at DHS, so an Epcot area resort was critical. Actually, availability is super limited everywhere the week we will be there. I was so hoping something would open at YC CL or BWI CL for the last 3 nights. I've been crazy looking but I'm starting to think I just need to get excited about the Swan. The good news is we have 2 nights at YC CL so it's a great way to start the trip! My parents have never stayed CL at WDW so this will be a nice treat for them :)

Sounds like a wonderful trip you have planned. Have a great time and congratulations to your parents on 40 years :wizard:.

Well... Just when I thought I was out.. They pull me back in!!

I am booked in Sugarloaf for my DD's birthday again this year..we loved it so much last year.. I need to find out the room I had because it was a great one!

Anyway..just wanted to say Hi again. We are booked in 20 days at YC but it will be a long wait till Feburary 6th

I need a 12 Step CL Program!

I would be a lifetime member of that program! :lmao: I actually got in an argument with someone last week defending CL like it was my first born child! :rotfl:

Right??
I just remembered they were renovating while we were there last year! Fresh rooms!!!:cool1:

Quick question. Does anyone have any room suggestions for WL CL? Will be there 12/12-20 for DH 40th birthday and want to give him the best room possible. We have a standard club room. Oh yeah one more thing. We reserved our room about two weeks ago and are 72 days out haven't heard from the lodge staff at all. Do they only do this for guests who are around the 180 day mark? Thanks

We stayed in 7062.. It was a handicapped room, but you could have noted "near 7062 or similar view"
We watched the fireworks from there and the monorail each morning

I'm sorry if this has been asked before. If you have the club level staff book your ADR's, tours, etc. do you stand a better chance of getting what you want than if you stay in a room that's not club level and do it yourself? TIA!

I would look at it this way. With the IPO looking in addition to yourself the you have more people looking on your behalf. So, chances of getting something you want would naturally increase.

However, if you rely solely on IPO then I might even suspect you lessen your chances. It really depends on how often you would have searched.

My understanding is that the IPO has their list of request from all guests that they search in the morning. But I am not sure if they do it multiple times a day. Mind you if you get someone who is going above and beyond then you just never know.

I may be off in my assessment. So if some more veteran CL goers have more info please share.

Thank you. I appreciate your answer!

Just got a great cast rate of 60% off all 3 rooms I have booked for BWI CL in January!!!! I am beyond happy about this. Got a discount on dinning too.:cool1:pixiedust:

One thing I will mention is that a couple of times when staying CL at the Contemporary we tried and tried before our trip to get reservations to chef mickey and they were always booked. The CL cast members on two occasions were able to request a 5:00 dinner for our party of 6 with no promises and both times we got in. I don't know if this is common or if we just had awesome luck twice. Hope this helps!

Wow!! That's incredible! Congrats on your savings and happy planning.:goodvibes

We are now officially booked for Poly CL in Jan! We saved $1247, which helps me justify the cost of CL ::yes:: Can't wait to watch Wishes from the lounge while having dessert and an adult drink!

I booked a club level stay at BWI back in May. I made my own ADRs. I did contact IPO a few times for help with random reservations. I need a BBB location changed, I need a dinner reservation for one night in DHS, and I also needed a Le Cellier for lunch one day ( I booked Le Cellier on my iphone and didn't book for enough people, ugh). They were supposed to be checking daily for each of these things. I get a call from IPO about a month after the requests were made, telling me that they needed my credit card info so they could make a reservation, should they become available. What??!! I get that they can't magically make reservations appear, but I wasn't looking for those reservations, because I thought they were, but I gave them my CC info and blew it off.
Every time I have called, the CMs in the IPO have been less than friendly, they haven't been helpful or offered alternative suggestions or anything.
Then today I called because my daughter suddenly requested a princess breakfast....at 36 days out!!! So I called IPO to request they keep an eye open for me. The lady that answered the phone told me to keep looking everyday! Having someone to make ADRs for me is one of the perks I paid for. I am a full time RN, have 3 kids, my DD is undergoing lots of medical testing that consumes a lot of time, and I am back in college pursuing an advanced degree. I just don't have the time to stalk the ADR availability.
Also, a few weeks ago, I found the Le Cellier ADR that I was looking for.....the one that IPO was supposed to watch for and book.
I am really regretting booking this expensive club level room. I, just today, booked a Room Only room at AoA because we are going to arrive a day early. I wish we could change our whole reservation over to AoA now.
Someone tell me some good things to make me fee less ambivalence about my trip.

IPO has the same chance of getting ADRs as you do. However, as the pp said, it's always a plus to have someone else looking along with you (especially for some hard to get ADRs) ;).

I never use IPO for any of our CL stays, but I wanted to say I'm sorry you're having trouble with IPO. I hope things work out and you are able to change your BBB reservation and get the other ADRs you want :wizard:.

Beach Club new lounge http://flic.kr/p/py5rSd

I am having trouble posting pics. But if you click in that link you can flip though photos. I didn't take any of the seating areas but there were about 15 tables, 3 TVs and a little sitting area with chairs.
