Just got off the phone with chase and she read the promotion memo to me starting tomorrow if u book a 7 day 6 night stay at participating disney resort u get fd for length of stay but it does not mention which hotels only the length of stay and coming out tomorrow :thumbsup2

We are only planning a three night stay! That would REALLY throw a monkey wrench into things!!

Has anyone confirmed that all of AoA is excluded from FD? It seems like we know about POR/POFQ, but AoA is still a mystery.

Since this person got the FD offer through the October 12, if I check in on the 12th, will I get FD through the 18th?

Great advice. Remember booking a room does not put you in a better position for any discount. You are literally booking a new room with the new discount. You are not applying a discount to your existing room. :thumbsup2

This was true in the past but a very knowledgeable CM told me the other day that if I booked a room without FD and then called back when the promotion came out, all they would have to do is add FD to the reservation. I specifically asked her, "so I wouldn't have to cancel my current reservation and then rebook with FD" and she said "no, it's easier now, we just add it."

I'm going to call them again to substantiate this info.

We'll that is a false statement. One year pop wasn't open for a week or so then opened up. Also POR had no standard rooms but eventually some opened up. I'm not arguing with what they told you but it has happened.

It's not false statement, rather as I said, in her experience it hasn't happened. That is not to say it didn't reopen when another TA was booking, but she has not had that happen to her. She has now planned 4 wonderful, magical, affordable Disney adventures and she is pretty darn solid at what she does. I'll just keep her a secret.:cool1:

This probably means nothing, but for what it's worth I just checked POR, POFQ, CBR, and CSR for 9/13 through 9/21 (my dates) and standard rooms were available for all except POR, which still had garden view available. This was for four people.

May mean nothing but there's still inventory out there at least for mid-Sept. Hopefully it's a good sign for the PO resorts not to be excluded.

Excluded for FD. Included for room only.

Oh well. :(

I suppose I can hope Disney has a last minute change of heart, but y'all seem pretty sure POR is out.

Yes, she told me 6 night/7 day stay as well. I scribbled 6/7 as I was taking notes and couldn't remember exactly what I meant. That is different than the info in the first post...

This is also what we were told, so no worries. I was concerned that we would be hit with higher priced tickets, but we have a package already.

Has anyone any personal knowledge of calling and asking if a PIN is attached to their name and actually being told Yes. I have called in the past and they CM's seem to have a slightly strange reaction to the question. They do it and then say no I am sorry but I am just wondering if anyone has been told yes.
. I have been told yrs on 2 occasions in the past. One for RO. And one for Free dining.

I called in last year, asked about a PIN, and was told there wasn't one under my name but there was one under my hubby. I never received an email or snail mail with the PIN though and I'm not sure why. So yes, it does happen :)

Oh no! We are only going 5 nights! :sad2::sad1::sad:

I just called the number on the back of the Chase Disney Visa 800 300 8575 and was told there are no upcoming promotions. Only those listed on the Disney Rewards site.

What prompts are you selecting to get someone who gave you information about FD being released tomorrow?

Looks like just the mermaid rooms afterall.

However, Movies has fallen.

I wonder if the change was related to realizing that the exclusions disproportionately affected families of 5 and 6. The whole time I was reading these threads, I kept thinking that there is no way Disney would allow it to happen that families of 5 and 6 were kept out of free dining at value and moderate resorts, for public relations/customer service reasons. I figured they would start guaranteeing connecting rooms for two value rooms, but adding the suites at AoA in is even better.

More experience posters can correct me, but I think Disney usually advertises the offer as a 6n/7d, but the minimum has been pretty consistent at 3 nights with 2 day park passes.
