Hello everyone . Just a quick hi and bye from me. Good to see Jessica and Wendy make a brief apperance on the boards . Mel you sound busy as usual.

No fun trips planned for me and we won't make it back to WDW until 2015...waaaaahh! My life is mellow right now and I'm perfectly happy with that .

Mellow is definitely a good thing!


I'm usually around to skim the thread every couple of days but still too busy to actively do much more. It's pathetic. Soooooo looking forward to only working one job for a little while later this year if all goes according to plan. I'm worn out.

Happy weekend Divas! Taking it easy this weekend. Home with my grandson (11) and dog-sitting for my DD.
My DD (Diva Jennifer H.) and granddaughter(6) are off to Houston for a concert that she won! They get to meet CoCo Jones from Disney's NBT (Next Big Thing ) and also on some episodes of Good Luck Charlie. My DGD was so excited when I dropped them at PHX this morning!
Now if I could just win a nice WDW vacation!

I'm starting to get ridiculous, the nearer we get to the end of the year. I'm buying our airline tickets next week, and the prices just dropped by about $45 total. So now I'm not sure if I should go ahead and get them next week or if I should wait to see if they drop any more. But then they may go back up! Dilemmas.

Hey howdy hey, ladies!

I had a great time at DL on Sunday with Violet. She is becoming my DL buddy.
This was her 4th trip. Her favorite ride is Small World and she loves the Billys. She claps along and swings her legs. I think I might have to dress her up as a princess or Minnie next time.

Violet has good taste!

Just wanted to jump on and say "hi" to everyone!

Tomorrow I'm headed down to Laguna Beach with my parents, sister and two nieces and then to Disneyland for three days. I'm excited to be getting a little break, but not too excited about walking around the parks while 32 weeks pregnant.

Totally concur! Back from our beach trip and back to the real world of heat and mountains of laundry! Mainly sandy beach towels and sweatshirts.

I am starting to make granola and energy bites for a healthy drive through kiosk every week. 180 cups of oats to start with! Add the rest of the stuff and you have a BUNCH OF GRANOLA! Not sure if it is worth it yet, but time will tell. Hey, every little bit might help with my DL and traveling trips.

Yay so glad to see we have a rough schedule for the trip. Getting exciting!!

Of course I have hardly had time to think about the diva trip because I still have some planning to do for our Oct trip as well as we still have to book our November of 14 trip to DW. Since we are not using our timeshare we have to book the Port Orleans which we will do in Oct. It's just been a LOT lately because we had stuff to pay for for Oct, then mom has to put ANOTHER deposit down for the trip next year and she just paid for the timeshare which now we can't use but hopefully will be able to use to go to Aulani in 16. Course that is all up in the air but she will def use it sometime somewhere but tough cuz as always seems everything comes due at once.

We haven't even looked about airfare for March yet because right now they don't have any sales so I just keep watching and hoping for another one of those awesome sales they had that we got our Oct tix. Right now it is 107 one way from Sac to OC. But we got 49 1 way for Oct so really hoping they have another one of those before March. If not probably sometime in January we will try and book something.

Going to be a busy week here as the girls go back to school on Thursday. My parents are also going out of town on their annual trip to Monterey that they do every August. My dad used to race cars and they have some historic races at Laguna Seca so they go every year to visit with their friends and watch the various events that go on. So I will be house sitting again the rest of the week. Just did it for them the last 3 days as they had to go up to Truckee to get the condo ready to be rented (people are renting it for a year).

Our Farrell's opened up last week so I am taking the girls today. Really excited to see it and relive some fond memories of the past! My stategy is to go right when it opens and being a Tuesday hoping that it won't be a madhouse. I figured if I didn't do it now it would be awhile as I am sure weekends and evenings are nuts.

Just stopping by with some news ... Jessica finishes her graduate program next week and is moving back from So Cal to Nor Cal .... she was up here for 3 interviews last week and has been offered 2 jobs ... she accepted the one with the American Cancer Society .... very proud and excited mama here!

October 2014???? Jessica and I could very well be there!!! We usually try to go for F&W .... had to cancel this year .... thought DS might be planning a wedding but it looks like it is postponed until Feb/Mar 2014. So long story short Jessica and I will be there in Sept of this year .... so Oct 2014 for F&W is almost a must do!! We maybe staying onsite, resort or DVC but we may also be staying in a timeshare. Please post dates as you firm up your plans .... I'm pretty flexible on dates and would love to meet up with some Divas!!!

We're not to the point of picking dates yet. Since we will most likely stay at one of our timeshares off site, we'll probably be picking dates close to January.

I miss the coast. Beautiful 68 - 70 degree days. Aaaaahhhh..... It's 100 degrees here today and slightly overcast. Yuck. Plus, I forget until I've been up there for a few days how NOISY it is here. Traffic. Trains. Neighbors' hell hounds (that had a barking tantrum at 12:20 the other night). The A/C unit. The Spouse. It's a constant assault on my poor ears. I like QUIET. Sssssshhhhhh! LOL I'm trying to figure out when I can sneak back up there again....

Hello Everyone!

Well turns out I am sneaking another little trip to DL in. Thank goodness for miles! A friend of mine called and she and her son have annual passes too, so we are all going together. Surpising the boys with one night PPH concierge level. My son will be thrilled! Then was able to get the other two nights on bonus time at Dolphin's Cove, which we stayed at last time and really enjoyed.

Anyhow, planning on some pool time for sure. Anyone else going to be around? Anyone working? I'll come visit you My friend will be so impressed. Actually trying to convince her to go on the Diva trip.

We arrive Thursday around midnight, and then leave Monday night. It is going to be super fun, but super exhausting, I am sure!
