Free Dining Oct-Dec Is Here!!

So Joe Black, wadda you say after the dust settles you and I start doing a podcast on free dining?

I like this idea mostly because I think know what our theme song should be: Heart's "Magic Man."

Not because it's the story of a woman's sexual awakening--not that there's anything wrong with that...

Rather, because of the killer riff, and most of all the refrain: "Try to understand...Try to understand...Try, Try, Try to understand..."!!

Haha I'm game. I'm sure we could discuss for hours. We could end with the song "Money for Nothin", which would work great with the current resort fridge situation....."we got to move these refrigerators...."

Looking at your ticker if you want to stay at POP I would think you have a good chance of getting FD especially if you book the first day, it's a pretty big resort.

Thanks! We are already booked at Pop for Dec 14-18 and are going either way but saving money would be awesome. We were originally going to upgrade to a mod if free dining came out but Not a fan of their bus systems.

No need to worry. This happens every time. Once the leak goes out, all the blogosphere jumps on before the date hits.

So there was this much craziness before hand in the early summer too? I had no idea as I only came here after booking my trip several day after the promotion came out. I think I liked it better before I knew the agony of waiting. But what has been seen can't be unseen.

If you're looking at a mod I know for a fact that CBR has its own bus and is not shared. CBR is so dang huge it has to have its own bus loop! I believe CSR also has its own bus loop as well.

I just called Disney to inquire if I had a pin or not.

The cast member was really nice and asked when my trip was and asked if we had been to WDW before. She was pretty excited about it being our first trip and said she didn't have any current pins for our trip dates.

She did say that there was a new promotion coming out after the 31st of Aug and said to check back on Thursday for it.

Sounds pretty poaitive

How confident are you guys that AoA suites will be excluded from free dining?? We are already booked in the Nemo suites and the free dining would save us almost $800. It wasn't excluded last year. I find it odd that a lot of resorts are excluded. Any thoughts?

Innoventions West to the right of the video game wall near the fire safety house. It is open from 1pm-7pm. You must show your card to the CM and they will issue you a voucher for your free 5x7. It is a private meet and greet for only your party (up to 6 people per card account). They won't tell you who is in the room, but it is usually two (sometimes 3) members of the fab 5. You pick out your free photo at the photo center and all of the photos from the meet will be included on your Photopass CD if you get one of those. Here is one of our photos from Halloween day last year...

As I have understood past FD deals it has only been the AoA non suite memo rooms that were not part of it

We have a lion king suite reserved and are hoping to save 1200 with FD

That will leave us with lots of extra cash for what ever we want

Last year the only the Little Mermaid rooms were excluded. We stayed in the Cars suite & got free dining. Crossing my fingers that AoA will be included with FD!

I've only posted a few times but I just got off the phone with the nicest CM. First I asked him to check for pins but no luck...I asked "out of curiosity should I call back on Thursday after the current offer has expired?" He said they aren't allowed to say much but yes, I should definitely call back and even tho the wait may be long to stay on the line b/c it'll be worth the wait! He got his point across without coming out and saying yes, there is a new offer for FD coming Thursday, lol.
