Starbucks coming to WDW theme parks

About Starbucks giftcards..

I was just in my local Target that has a Starbucks and used my iPhone Starbucks app/giftcard to pay yesterday. So.. there's that.

I would certainly think they'd take Disney's giftcards, but who knows.. we'll have to see.

I use my iphone/gift card app at Target all the time as well. Hopefully I can do that at Disney. I like my points.

Have to join the PPs who say they're not fans of $tarbuck$. A high price for a very mediocre cup of cappuchino. And I agree with the comments about the burnt taste. Probably fine if you doctor it up with tons of additional flavours, sugar and whipped cream......

I'm just very relieved that the Joffrey's kiosks will remain so I can get my midmorning coffee fix in the park.

Don't know if anyone's said but STARBUCKS will be joining Disney - for now, at least, only at the California resort. But REAL COFFEE!!!!!

I think Starbucks has terrible coffee. I'd much rather go without coffee all week long than to drink that stuff. So this news doesnt excite me at all. Lol!

I love Starbucks coffee and almost everything about the corporation! I am so happy to have Starbucks coming to Disney parks!

I agree that a couple of their coffees do have a burnt flavor. I like the Columbian roast. It has a wonderfully nutty flavor and never tastes burnt to me.

The ones that do taste burnt are helped by adding a little hot water after the coffee is in the cup. Also, Starbucks keeps heavy whipping cream behind the counter, and I have asked to add that to their stronger roasts and it is AMAZING--much better than half and half. Both the hot water and heavy cream are free.

The lattes are delicious, too, of course, but I like Starbucks coffee. It is not that much more expensive than a cup of McDonald's coffee, and I like it better.

Ohhhhhhh.....My Happy Stars! We have been bringing bags of Starbucks with us for years and brew our own in our villa! Never thought I would see the day! (when you pack ground coffee in your suitcase, you can guarantee that your bag will be searched by TSA - happened every time. Looks like those days are over!)

Just hope the WDW stores are open by Jan. 2013 since that is our next planned trip (unless I can sneak another trip in sooner )

I'm not a coffee drinker but I will occasionally buy a frappuccino from Starbucks. I don't like seeing real world names either, like Starbucks or McDonalds, in the park. I don't come to the parks to eat at McDonalds or get a frappucino for more than I would pay in the real world. But I can understand how this is exciting if you're a coffee drinker or don't like the current Disney coffee.

I'd be all for one in Downtown Disney but in the parks, no. Oh, well.

Seriously? Is this really necessary?

I love some of Starbucks' drinks. I have yet to find them anywhere else. People spend may more money on things I think are silly to pay for but $3 for a coffee the exact way I want it, is nothing. I'd pay double, easily.

I don't give a poo about it being "popular" I consume what I want with or without people who come in on a clearly pro-product thread just bash that product. Sounds like a waste of time.
