but either way I'm wicked excited! I love their ice drinks! I'm glad that they'll be themed though. if it was just a starbucks i'd be so terribly disappointed. This way we get the best of both worlds!

My DH will be so excited! He loves his Starbucks and was just saying the other day how he wished there was a Starbucks at WDW. How ironic!

Every food item is already overpriced at Disney parks.

At least you will be able to actually GET "coffee" for your money.

I'm assuming that this also means the Joffery Coffee kiosks will be leaving the parks.

Those locations are/were offering pretty decent coffee.

Well, they already charge theme-park prices anyway.

I wonder, though, will the people working these stores be Disney CMs or Starbucks baristas? I've known some folks who worked for Starbucks, and it's a whole program--practically a cult. It seems hard to imagine Starbucks giving up that control, but then, it's even harder to imagine Disney letting staff serve people within their parks if they aren't trained as CMs. And in my experience, Starbucks baristas are nowhere near Disney levels on their service. They tend to come across as arrogant and rude to me, in many (of course, not all) cases.

I like the idea of them coming to the parks and hopefully they are successful and they start placing them in the actual Resorts. I would love to be able to grab a good cup of coffee on my way out to the bus stop and be able to drink it while waiting and on the bus and then be able to dispose of the cup before entering the parks so we wouldnt have to carry around the mugs all day just because we want coffee in the morning.

True, but, Starbucks is over priced outside of WDW. Whatever makes the people happy, I suppose. Not a coffee drinker, at all, and my DH thinks Starbucks is terrible coffee, he's a Dunkin Donuts guy!
