^ THanks Chiara! :)

Sorry that I missed you Andrea (and ANYONE else I may have neglected praise for)...

Just a super duper quick check in... We got to meet Tink this morning - her and her family are so nice, and little Anakin is ADORABLE!!!! We had lunch with them at EoS... super good, then we got to help her pick our her bday present. So fun!

V jsut went down to the pool - we have waaay less time to swim than I'd hoped - we have to be on a bus to MK in an hour, and then a bus to the Poly??? Not sure with the monorail not running... Grrr... A little annoyed by that - but the only day it affects us is today.

D~

Glad you're having fun! I'm not part of your "Cool kid club" on FB, so I can't wait to find out what happened :)

D not sure if it takes less time to get to DTD but you could go there and hop a bus right to the Poly.

Doh, Chiara, I didn't even think of that... Oh well, the monorail was running when we got there, so we just hopped on. :)

Suzi... Are u on fb? If u are, u should friend me :)

D~

ha ha ha D that is because I try to have 20 different ways to get to places. I am a tad anal like that.

Yay you got to meet Tink and Anakin :woohoo: such sweet people!

if you see this after dinner, take the boat back to MK then catch a bus back to POFQ!

D.... I loved your pictures this morning too.:cloud9:

Glad you were able to straighten out the photopass issue. The past two years my DD has taken a picture at AK holding baby Simba and each year it mysteriously is never on our card even though I have the same pictures for my sons. This year I promised her we are going to check to make sure that she is holding Simba:lmao:

Michelle, you can get pain for repetion of joints...I had to give up cross stichting because of pain in my wrists.

Lisa that is so sad that you had to give up that up.

Great job at sewing... I love Meg's toga!

I'd say yes. . .I got it from the DIS!!! Now that is sad!:rotfl2: If I'm on my laptop for long periods of time mine will flare up! If it were me, I'd let my DH go on believing it was sewing and NOT DIS!

I hope it feels better. . .so painful and it takes a long time to heal. I'd love to hear what your Dr. tell you.:thumbsup2

Thanks .... I spoke with my mom (the nurse) and she thinks somehow my elbow joint is infected since it is now swollen and hot to touch. It actually is feeling better so if it doesn't clear up in a few more days I will go to the doctor. How or why it ever got infected I have no idea.:confused3 I think I am not going to be turning 40 gracefully:rotfl2:

Just a very short note to say how much I admire you. You worked VERY hard to make this trip a reality. I admire how much time you spent creating and recreating things you made whether they were AG clothes, park bags, clothing, or assorted this'n'thats.

We followed you through adventures including a trip to the Netherlands, creating your sewing room, elephant pincushions, buying a new vehicle, a brief interlude at the lake, garage demolition, vintage sewing machines, painting crosswalks, movies in the moonlight, holidays at Target, buying sofas, Saturday school, DH's surgery, and the final journey of your beloved Rufus.

How you find time to post on so many other threads with an encouraging word and helpful links is beyond me.

It's hard to believe that your trip is beginning Day 8. I absolutely hope that your remaining time at Disney is a special time with your daughters and that you have a chance to reflect on all that YOU did to make it happen.

:upsidedow <------me, who really admires

Infected??? I have not heard of that one! Sorry it is so painful. I hope it gets better quickly.

I am rotf :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: about the turning 40 comment! I cross over in November (hence our next trip) and just noticed this week that I'm having trouble reading small print! I was fine last week. . .what am I taking for granted right now that I'll be whining over tomorrow???? Here's to a new decade. . .let's make the most of it!

So glad we got to meet today! Your girls are adorable too. My DH chuckled about V on the bus back to the resort and said we will have to check out that movie now. Have a great time tomorrow and the rest of your time here!

I have finally caught up on your PTR!! It has taken me months, but I have enjoyed it. So glad you are off enjoying a much deserved awesome trip to Disney with your girls! I just wanted to tell you how much I admire you for setting your goal for this trip and working so hard making your beautiful AG clothes and bags to pay for this trip! What a phenomenal role model you are to your daughters- showing them that when they want something they must work to get it. I have my own photo business and will be setting my own goals to fund our next trip to WDW. I also wanted to tell you how sorry I am about your sweet Rufus. I have had to put down 2 of my own dogs and it is heartbreaking. But please know that what you did was the best for him and that he knew how much he was loved. I will be looking forward to your TR- can't wait to hear what you got picked to do! And also will be ordering my own park bag for our next trip!! Blessings to you and your family!!

Cheryl, I just don't even know what to say. I was almost crying last night when I read this post. Thank you for making me remember some of the highlights of this last year, and thank you for reminding me to take the time to enjoy these last few days. You have such a way with words. :lovestruc Thank you for being one of my biggest cheerleaders!

I know... I am not even close to 40 - I still have another (ahem) 4 years to go, and I have aches and pains everywhere... :confused3

I was so glad we got to meet too - it was so much fun! I totally loved your shirts too! :lovestruc I am going to have to watch that movie, as well... Then we can all point at your DH! LOL I hope you have a wonderful rest of your vacation and you are able to see and do everything you plan to - also a safe trip home. :lovestruc

Thank you. :lovestruc How awesome that you are earning your way to Disney as well. :) And thank you about Rufus... We've been reflecting a lot on his life over these last few days, and I am pretty sure that it will really hit the girls when we get home - and it just makes me so sad. Sometimes when I close my eyes, I think of our sweet Ruf and I can just see him so clearly - it's still so hard to think he is no longer with us. It just breaks my heart.

I am still not sure when to start my TR??? I'd like to wait until our PHotopass pictures come back, but then again, I'd like to get started right away. I've been journaling our entire trip, but I've been a slacker the last two days and I need to get back to it, while it's still fresh in my mind.

Today the girls and I are headed to AK... the park opens at 8am  and I definately could have slept another 3 or 4 hours. :confused3 We plan to ride the Safari and EE again. We have a lunch adr scheduled for TH with Donald (sort of)... ANd then I think we are going to spend the rest of the day wandering. :wizard:

GET TO THE DOCTOR IMMEDIATELY!!! That sounds like cellulitis and I'd rather you get on oral antibiotics right now than end up in the hospital. Pretty please at least call them and let them know your symptoms. You must take cellulitis ver seriously.

While I truly second what you are saying Cheryl, I can't help but wonder why you are sucking up to D when you should be sucking up to me to get her address.

I'm so excited that you get to have lunch with Donald today!!!!! What are you wearing for your date? Does Josh know about this -- my lips are sealed -- I promise.

Donald is going to love your bag!

I can't wait to see pics -- start you tr right away and then add the photopass pics later.

So you will go on EE but not ToT:confused3?

Sorry I was slacking in keeping D's ptr going the past couple of days -- yard work beckons. My other six bushes have now been relocated and I'm in the process of mulching.

The dogs ran away yesterday thanks to my dd leaving the door open!!!! Fortunately they traveled the route of their walk and a neighbor down the street (who I do not know) nabbed them and put them in his yard and actually came searching for whoever's lost doggies they were -- ran into him just as we pulled out of the driveway to look for the dogs. I do not have id's on the dogs -- they are microchipped. I don't have them wear their collars 100% of the time because their hair gets matted, but this has taught me it's time for an ID as well.

It's raining this morning but I really need to do housework I am behind on. I'd rather be sewing, but doubt that will happen. I do need to wash a new shirt for dd that I had to buy since my embroidery machine got a bit too hungry the other night :headache:

D-

I just read where the soft opening for Fantasyland's Storybook Circus was yesterday. Did you guys have a chance to go to MK and check it out yet? Would love to hear your thoughts. Here is a link to a clip that someone took of the Dumbo ride with new lights/water feature! Very cool to ride this ride at night if you get the chance!!

Have a great day!!

Liesel

Michelle -- yes get to the doctor ASAP, my mom had cellulitus a few years back and was not fun!

Andrea -- lucky your neighbor found your puppies so quickly :)

D~ have a great time with your guy at lunch! and enjoy AK, still have to go check out your FB posts!

and for those of you pushing 40! well I'm pushing "gulp" 50 next year....so deal with it :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: and will have a teenager too :scared1:

And I purposely didn't mention the make ahead mashed pototaeos so you wouldn't get a hankering for them and cut your trip short.

GET TO THE DOCTOR IMMEDIATELY!!!

Don't forget -- I have it narrowed down to a state that begins with M and ends with n. I'll be honing in on her house sooner than you can say 'Donald Duck does Disney but doesn't do dishes' 770 times fast.
