Coffee- is the only option in the food court still Sanka? If they now have "real" coffee my DW and I will be so much happier!

It's Nescafe, not Sanka. It comes in regular and decaf. Sanka is a brand name instant decaf.

Ahhh..that's right! I thought Sanka did not sound right but couldn't think of any other name.

Isn't Nescafe about the same thing- instant coffee? I remember having it on previous trips. If I mixed it with some hot chocolate to make a cafe mocha it was ok but on its own it is not like fresh brewed coffee.

Yes, the Nescafe is instant/concentrate coffee. It isn't fresh brewed coffee. Occasionally you can see a CM putting the boxes inside the machines. And when you fill a mug you can notice the water hoses behind the machine running to send the hot water through the concentrate.

I will admit that I have grown quite accustomed to the taste and I will drink it black. The taste is a reminder, like the smell of the shampoo and soap, of being at WDW. :goodvibes

:thumbsup2 Finally someone after my own heart. I feel the same way about the coffee at Disney. I do mix it with a bit of hot chocolate but the taste just reminds me of Disney and does not bother me. It is like the smell of hot blacktop, the spray perfume I only use when on vacation, or the cinnamon rolls on Main street at MK. Nescafe is just a Disney memory.

That said I did notice a lot more regular coffee being sold in the coffee carts in the parks than I did on previous trips. That just means if you can't go without it you will pay starbucks prices for regular brew and not instant like the resorts have at the food court. Some of the moderate and above resorts have coffee and bakery good seperate and the coffee is regular brew. CSR and Poly are the two that come to mind.

I friend of mine here on the DIS, mickeystoontown, chatted with a CM online the other day and asked about the bus situation at POP and AOA and if they would be sharing buses. The CM, Lawrence, stated that AOA would have its own bus line, it would NOT be sharing with POP. POP will be keeping its own bus line.

I wonder if AOA will have a closure bus stop than?

This is great news. I was concerened as soon as I heard about AOA that POP would end up with bus service like AllStars has.

Very interesting, and very good news. I also was wondering the same.

Speaking of buses, I didn't know until my trip last week that the bus stop for Pop at Hollywood Studios moved from a really convenient one (I think #8) to all the way at the end (to the right) at #14. :sad1:

Interesting! Thanks for the update. Our trip in June we tried out the POFQ (which we loved!) and we were joking about how we missed the POP bus stop at HS being so close! :)

Yeah, it's barely a stop too... all the way at the end, really didn't have a line, just sorta a area for us all to huddle together. :lmao:

Hi Everyone :) First post on the boards...
First trip to POP coming up in January! :yay:
Does anyone know If the Kiddie Pool at Pop Century has a height restriction? We went to Disney last November for our first trip and stayed at the Caribbean Beach Resort. When I took my two kids age 7 and 2 to the pool area (hubby arriving later), they wouldn't let my 7 yr old in the kiddie pool because he was over the height limit by 1 inch. There was nobody else in the kiddie pool at this time. Since I couldn't let him go in the big pool by himself, my toddler didn't get a chance at the little pool.
Is this a rule at POP as well?

PS LOVE these forums! ;)

Nope, no height restrictions and no life guard to enforce any. You'll be good to go!
