Weird-Odd-Strange-Disturbing Photo Thread...

Does my vote count? We loved how the mousekeeper set-up the animals around the room everyday.

YES! It is the CR! You win more photos:

OMG - these are priceless! I'm willing to try out CR just to get this mousekeeper! It must have been so much fun coming back to the room every night :thumbsup2

And then one time, at POR, we found three huge bedbugs in our suitcase just as we were getting ready to fly back home. True story. Here's the proof:

In 2006, we had an awesome Mousekeeper at POR that left towel animals daily and would arrange animals too. We came back one night to find the teddy bear one of us had bought riding a towel animal elephant..so cute!

Not too sure why people are doubting that Mousekeeping sets up stuffed animals? :confused3

Our girl's stuffed animals have been set up many times at the AKL, Poly, and POFQ. It would seem to me that it has happened the most at the Poly for us, but that could just be that we stay there more than the others.

It doesn't happen every time, but when it does the girls really enjoy it :thumbsup2
It's the same with the towel animals..some people get resentful when they haven't had the same experience. It's just luck of the draw..when we stayed at POFQ and Poly, they didn't get too creative withe towel/stuffed animals. Some mousekeepers like to do that stuff, some don't.

Only on the DIS could someone be called out over stuffed animals put into poses.:lmao::sad2::rolleyes:

I don't understand what I'm looking for? :confused3

I thought maybe they were there during a hurricane or tropical storm. Skylights in that situation would be pretty unnerving. But I agree that the picture's pretty cryptic.

Mousekeeping has staged our stuffed animals at the Wilderness Lodge and the Animal Kingdom Lodge. No one did it at BLT last summer, though. We actually brought extra stuffed animals in anticipation of it, but that is okay.

My favorite was when Mousekeeping turned the tv on and set Simba up on the bed to look like he was in charge of the remote control. I may have a picture of it. I will look and see.

Yep WL gets very creative sometimes. We had one that set the animals up in bed, with reading glasses, my book I was reading, the TV remote and even a beverage and snack.

It was a hoot, and loved finishing the beverage and snack.

The kids in our group wanted to leave the park and rush back to see what their stuffed animal friends were up too. :lmao:

By request- usually just post at the POTD thread, but hope you enjoy.

This is a reproduction of one of the gargoyles from Notra Dame, and they functioned architecturally as a decoration to hide the roof draining system, and 'religiously' to ward off evil spirits- and animatedly, to befriend Quasi Modo!
