Weird-Odd-Strange-Disturbing Photo Thread...

I'm with you on that. Also, the photos with the stuffed animals looked stage as well - and not by mousekeeping, either!!
:confused3

Yep, I stayed at the CR in '08 so that I could set-up my DD's stuffed animals then take photos of them and post them to this thread. I do this all the time and I even make towel animals, too and pretend that the mousekeeper did it;). Looks like my secret's out.

When we stayed at POR last March we often came back to our room to find the kids' stuffed animals in various positions, placed there by mousekeeping. If I knew how to post pictures I would show you.

Wow. Funny. We've stayed in Disney at SSR, BCV, CB since 2002 and never had that experience. :confused3

The towel animals is a no-brainer. Mousekeeping always does that. Glad you came clean about the stuffed animals. Feels good, don't it? :flower3:

I'm sorry to hear that your mousekeepers have never set-up your stuffed animals for you. We've stayed on-site almost every year since the 90's and have had them set-up at the Poly, WL, CR and POR, but never at CSR or CBR.

If you ever stay again at SSR, BCV or "CB" (CBR?) you might want to be prepared to set-up your own animals.

Mousekeeping has staged our stuffed animals at the Wilderness Lodge and the Animal Kingdom Lodge. No one did it at BLT last summer, though. We actually brought extra stuffed animals in anticipation of it, but that is okay.

My favorite was when Mousekeeping turned the tv on and set Simba up on the bed to look like he was in charge of the remote control. I may have a picture of it. I will look and see.

Not too sure why people are doubting that Mousekeeping sets up stuffed animals? :confused3

Our girl's stuffed animals have been set up many times at the AKL, Poly, and POFQ. It would seem to me that it has happened the most at the Poly for us, but that could just be that we stay there more than the others.

It doesn't happen every time, but when it does the girls really enjoy it :thumbsup2

How funny! On our last trip it was Timon that was in charge of the remote! We also had a hammock between the beds one day. And one night we came home to Timon holding a map and all the other stuffed animals looking on. That was at POR.

I hope we get a fun mousekeeper at the Poly this summer because the boys are already planning what stuffed animals to bring in anticipation of it.

It seemed odd the first time it happened, but now, we look forward to it.

WL Mousekeeping set up DGD's stuffed animals propped up with the pillows and the tv remote next to them.:) Almost every day they were set up differently. Really cute!

Mousekeeping has also staged our stuffed animals too. I have a really cute picture of Stitch on the bed with the remote control in his hands and some kind of a mickey ear head band thingee.....I will try to post a picture. It is unusual and funny!

That slide is so clever and it's so cute that your DD is putting her "friends" down it. I love seeing what the other mousekeepers have done with guests' critters. (But, of course, it's obvious you staged them yourself:rotfl::sad2:)

Please don't feel sorry for me. :upsidedow I don't like people touching my animals!! And as I said, I've stayed in Disney every year since 2002 without mousekeeping arranging things in my room. So please, flame me if you will, but after 8 years of never experiencing this and with the staged photo of a "dummy" on a bed, surely you can see why I'm a doubting Thomas. But if not, so be it. :flower3:

Okay...let's have a distraction: another odd or disturbing photo!

Well...at least I think these things are odd. I've had several instances of vacations, including cruises, where our stuffed animals have been used in cute ways. I think they're CUTE! :rotfl:

So, my NEXT odd photo (and thanks, KingdomHearts -- you were right!!) is this: the dinosaur in AK that has lights strategically placed...as teats.

You gotta love Imagineers. :lmao:

:rotfl:Giving a dinosaur mammalian characteristics! I'd never noticed that.

Here's one more...now, this one is a little spooky. We went to Garden Grill for lunch (you know, the rotating restaurant), and when we went by the section of The Land that has the farm in it, we could see inside the farmhouse.

Now, the little details that WDW throws in here amazes me...you can see the wind gauge, the globe inside the room...but there was one thing I couldn't explain, and neither could anyone else.

The spoon in the window.

Spooky, isn't it?? :scared1:

Does my vote count? We loved how the mousekeeper set-up the animals around the room everyday.

YES! It is the CR! You win more photos:

I love these!! I think they are cute and it's your stuff they are using. I liked it, never had any in the bathroom, but like someone posted, if it clean for me to want to go in there and the lid was closed, a little spritz and it's good!
thanks for sharing

That is strange. I wonder if it's still there? Or maybe they've replaced the spoon with a fork:confused3

You're welcome, Disneyelf10.

Came back to Fort Wilderness cabin to find our stuffed animals meeting about where to go when they reach Animal Kingdom. :goodvibes

Just wanted to jump on the band wagon. For the doubters of the "staged" animals, I don't have a photo of them. Never think about it till after the trip. We have had several times of the mousekeepers staging my kids animals. It does happen. Its always exciting to come back to the room after a long day at the parks and see the animals in different places. We have stayed from the values to the deluxes and has happened almost every trip.

My son's Pooh Bear had a great time in our room at POR. We didn't think to take pictures of his many adventures until the last day. Our Mousekeeper was great and my son loved it. Knowing his Pooh was going to have fun while we were gone was the only way I could keep him from brigning his lovey into the parks with us.

Yep, we've had our stuffies arranged watching TV, waiting on the side of the bed waiting for our return, combing each others hair, in a "prison break" scene (Mickey on the bed with a towel hanging over the side with Minnie at the bottom, still holding onto the "rope" towel, with Pluto making his way to the door) It was so cute!

My DD's loved coming back to the resort to see what their stuffies were up to that day. This was done both at Pop and the old Disney Institute.
