Ringing in 2010, 6 months til we'll be back again

My previous post posted before I finished writing, so I went back to edit it, then I saw you had already replied, so I decided to just make this another post. :upsidedow

I love the early morning pics on the lake...so peaceful. :cloud9:

We are soooo not morning people, but when it comes to Disney :rolleyes1 I really want to make it to an EMH rope drop in the summer!

Zurg was still there in Feb when we were there. DH and I did not go on the ride right away with my family because Caleb was asleep in the stroller so I told my brother about it and to get a picture....yeah he forgot and never saw it! It is clearly there....he was just not paying attention. LOL! My nephew would have looked really cute in there!

I got Caleb that little 2010 Mickey mouse that is near brooklyn's feet for Caleb. Among other things my favorite thing he got to bring home courtesy of my brother and SIL is the round tigger (I call him rolly polly tigger)...he is soo fat and cute...but Caleb has not shown much interest in him...yet!

This looks like the display that I saw in March in place of Zurg's cage..I guess this is the spot where Zurg is now? They may have been in the process of switching the two around and Zurg hadn't made it to his new home yet? :confused3

Yep, that's where he is. Right where all that merchandise is. There may have been some merchandise there as well. I wasn't able to get a picture because there was a CM and a family crowded around.

We'll still be around July 1st as well!

Then we will definitely all try to meet up! We fly in late on the 30th. I think our plane lands at like 11:00 so we will not be setting the alarms for the morning, however, I do have my two small blonde alarm clocks that I'm sure will be up and ready to go. Let us know your tentative plans for that day and we will see if we can't work something out for a quick meet!

I'm in!!!!:thumbsup2 I'm so excited about my first DIS meet-and with you guys no less...DIS royalty!:worship: ;)

I know originally, over on my PTR, MeMom had said maybe you guys would come over to OKW (where we are staying) but if that doesn't work or it needs to be somewhere different, just let me know. That is our next to the last day and I think the only concrete plans I have at this point is dinner at Olivia's that night.

I'm really looking forward to it!:goodvibes

another great update and pics.

what dates are you looking at for October if you go?

iray and i just cracked up over this picture.....it looks like thumper is screaming in pain!!! :scared1: :rotfl2: i know brooklynn would never, ever harm little thumper, it's just the picture. but we thought it was so funny!

Oh MeMom....how I can't wait to be in the Magic Kingdom next week! I'm pretty sure it wont be that empty though! Oooh I can't wait to see Prince Naveen either! And I think now with my walking habit I'll have to do some early morning walks like you do!:goodvibes

So glad Zurg is back...Luke for sure needs to be behind bars! Buzz is his favorite right now!

Kristen, MSB's cinnamon roll is AMAZING! It's the best cinnamon roll I've ever had. I always eat the whole thing in one sitting  it's just that good!

They are huge cinnamon rolls!!!
Very good...and very large.

I do believe it is. Is he not a doll????

Let us know how you feel about rope drop. We know it's not for everybody, but it is definitely the way to go for us!

We bought that Mickey, too. He was cheap, like five dollars, maybe. :thumbsup2

I was glad to hear Zurg is still around. ::yes::

Our guys have not been over to Old Key West, so that would be a good place for us. We can come over and just get food or ice cream at Good's and eat out by the water. If you are willing to show us your OKW room, we'd love to see it. We'll just tentaively plan for an afternoon or early evening meeting at OKW, and we can change it later if we need to.

another great update and pics.

what dates are you looking at for October if you go?

It'll be the week that has the teens in it, like around the 16th.

What wonderful words to be in the same sentence - Magic Kingdom and next week! :dance3:

I bet you will get some awesome pictures on morning walks! :)

So glad Zurg is back...Luke for sure needs to be behind bars! Buzz is his favorite right now!

That's who our little cousin, Parker, adores, too. He says says it more like Booze, though. When he sees Buzz, his eyes light up - his whole face lights up - and he says, "Buuuuzz!" It's so sweet.

Well, that's just the best! :goodvibes

That's what these trips are all about.

Sounds good to me! You can absolutely see our room....if you promise to ignore what a mess it most likely will be!

Have a great day everyone! It's Friiiiidaaaay!!:dance3:

One less Friday before Disney, plus the end of school. Are you staying in the second grade next year? How was your year of no testing?

We will overlook any mess you have. I am sure we will have a similar one at Pop. :goodvibes Jill and I would really like to see an OKW room in person. :cool1:

I truly hope to stay in second grade. I got my feet wet this year, so I'd be happy not to start over with another curriculum next year. There are going to be two first grade openings, I know, but I hope to stay in second.

And I very, very, very much enjoyed not having the TCAP stress this year. ::yes:: :cool1:

I always love to see MK pictures. It is my favorite place. My son would love to have one of each stuffed animal as well. He has a room FULL of stuffed animals and loves every one of them. Build-a-Bear is his second favorite place to be, behind Disney World naturally.

I forgot to mention in my previous comment how much I love the look on Brooklyn's face in IASW! I find it so inspiring in a weird way! I should look at it that way too! I wonder what exactly is running through her mind! :) So sweet!

We'll have to have a Dis meet there sometime. :thumbsup2

Sorry about that secret spot. It was really nice while it lasted. :)

Yes, we def will have to meet there sometime :goodvibes

Not any of your fault no need to be sorry ! This Fantasyland expansion is really starting to take off and while I'm really excited about all the new things , I'm sad to see all the old things go and all the changes there making just to get it done :(

My favorite park is whichever one I am in on any given day. :)
I love Magic Kingdom for what it means to Brooklynn and because it is the essence of Disney. I love Epcot for the opportunities to learn about countries I will never see. I also love all of the educational aspects of that park. I love Animal Kingdom because I am fascinated by the animal world. Again, there are so many learning experiences here. I love Hollywood Studios for the entirely different vibe I get in that park - all the glitz and glamour of old Hollywood is fun, and the shows are wonderful. (If I had to give up a park, it would be this one, but I hope I don't ever have to give up a park.) Depending on my mood, each one of them can be my favorite park in so many ways.

Brooklynn loves her stuffed family, too. She has some interesting conversations with them.

Have a good weekend MeMom and Jill! :)

We will. They are coming up here tomorrow so we can run by Margot's birthday celebration. :cutie:

Happy Friday! :goodvibes

And it's a payday Friday!!! :cool1:

It would be fun to know what little ones are thinking on rides and in shows. Brooklynn totally absorbs herself in whatever she is doing. It is fun to watch her facial expressions as she watches a movie. She is right there with the characters.

We're anxious to get a glimpse of the changes and get some pictures, hopefully.

**********************************

Three weeks from right now, we should be at Animal Kingdom!!! :cool1:

I have a question for you MeMom. Currently we're booked in a family suite at ASMu for our September trip. But we're thinking about switching to Pop in a regular room to save money. I'm retired on a fixed income and my daughter is a teacher and the furlow days have hurt her family's income. The only thing we're worried about is fitting 3 adults and a 3 year old in one room. I think my gs would love the theming at Pop but we don't want to feel crammed in the room. What do you think?

Terri
