Thanks for all the great shots! How exciting! We are staying in a 3 bedroom Magic Kingdom view in January. I can't wait! We haven't been to Disney in three years and my boys are so excited. (And so am I!)

I just came back and I had orginally booked a MK studio but got a 1 br lake view/MK view Room 8010 made us turn into DVC members!!

We went to go check out the BLT while we were there just to see what it was like. But there were BUGS all over everything ;P

Maybe we were just there at a weird time??? You're gonna have bugs when you're that close to the water no matter what you do, but there were kind of like...a million of them o_o

Was that in your room or in a common area ? Is it near the opening to a main entrance ? Did they fly or just crawl? I would have been so freaked out.

I didn't post the photos, but I can confirm that those are definitely the sizes for the bed and sofabed. And the rooms feel larger in person, especially with the sofa folded up. But they are very small rooms, for sure ... moderate resort-size.

We were at Disney World for the New Year's Eve parties.... we did the countdown in the lobby/ballroom of the Grand Floridian Resort.

To kill some time, we took the monorail over to the Contemporary and took a walk thru the Bay Lake Towers public areas. The area surrounding the pool is fantastic, the towers look like ultra-chic European condos or something -- I hope we can afford to stay there one day!

There was a full moon on New Year's Eve, and I got some cool shots from the pool-side area. This shot was taken from the doorway of the lobby, facing the pool area. I crouched down and aimed the camera up, to get the tops of the bamboo with the moon/clouds in the background.
