That brownie sundae looks incredibly! Reminds me of my favorite dessert at the Cheesecake Factory!
Yummy, another batch of wonderful food porn!
The story about the annoying kids at The Plaza reminds me -
I've worked as a nanny in the States and was an au pair in France. I've also traveled to a lot of places in Europe (but never the UK). In general, I noticed that children in Europe are better behaved in public places. It seems like parents just don't take them out unless they are. The family I lived with in France had 3 and 4 year old girls and we took them out to a restaurant once in eight months. Meal times at home were very much a teaching time with children - don't play with your food, chew with your mouth closed, this is how you use a fork and knife properly, etc. I think Europeans tend to educate children about things at an earlier age.
Now, I know you were at Disney, so that kind of changes things since children are the norm rather than the exception there. I just thought it was in interesting cultural difference. It's not one of those ones that are so obvious, and it was neat to observe over a period of time.
The meal at Artist Point looks and sounds fantastic. I hadn't even thought of that as an option, sorry to hear about the made service though, especially for a signature.
Mmmm sweet salmon! I'm glad your DH liked his vegetarian entree, but potstickers kind of seems like a cop out for a signature restaurant!
I always wonder about Artist Point, but seem to chicken out at the last minute. Maybe when dh and I go, we'll try it.
I am glad to see you enjoyed Sanaa. We went there too in early September and really enjoyed it. The Chai Creme was a big hit and I had the roasted cauliflower which was to die for!
Thank you for your reviews and ............ keep them coming!!
I realised when I was writing my Mama Melroses review, I'd missed out a report on our previous trip to the Writers Stop, so I'll include it now.
While planning this trip, I kept hearing good things about the writers stop, and specifically the Carrot Cake cookie. It sounded delicious, so after our meal at Brown Derby we popped in to get one.
Nothing in the case is marked as a snack credit, but when I asked the cm she said it was pretty much all included. I got a Carrot Cake cookie and nibbled on it for the next couple of days.
I really liked this. The carrot cake was very soft, and it was filled with plenty of soft, cream cheese frosting. Delicious and a great use of a snack credit.
Ok that is two amazing reviews of Sanaa and I really need to convince DH to try it on our next trip...it sounds and looks incredible!
I'm trying Sanaa in a couple weeks, and I'm looking forward to it even more now.
I LOVE the bread service at Sanaa...I have dreams about those breads and the coriander chutney, which is my favorite. Very spicy, but i do like it hot!
Loved the review of Sanaa. I'll be there in less than 2 weeks so this got me really excited!
This looks so yummy! Will have to pick one up on our next trip!
TY for your reviews!!!!!
