MeMom, I just visited Macys online and that sailor Mickey is so cute. I think I need one too!

That's another thing I don't think 52 year olds should be buying for themselves, but I did it anyway. I got one for me and one for Jill.

They have little alarm clocks with them. Do you know if that has special meaning?

After our excellent breakfast, we went browsing around in here.

Keep the above shirt in mind when we are waiting in the hot sun at Hollywood Studios after while. Someone in our group might have had a grumpy pill that lasted a short time.

Out into this beautiful day we went.

Onto a boat.

Mommy-daughter conversation on the boat.

We soon found ourselves at Park #2.

We didn't plan to spend a lot of time here. Mostly we were going to do whatever didn't take a long time just to officially count this park.

We ended up here.

This is where the grumpy pill took hold for a few minutes. John does not do well in the heat. He began complaining and saying doing this four parks thing was a stupid idea. The other guys had already left and would be meeting back up later. John chose to stay, but he could have gone on back. I would rather have had him go back than to stay and rain on our four parks excitement. His grumpy pill lasted throughout the wait, but once we were on the ride, he was okay.

There are so many details here.

I just looked at the pictures. I have never seen the casserole dishes like that! Where did you get them?

We saw them at a few places (except World of Disney of course, cause I could have used my passholder discount) I ended up getting them at the little kitchen store next to Earl of Sandwich. Sorry, I can't remember the name. The big one was $18.95, the little one was $14.95. I thought that was reasonable. Our intention is to mold rice crispy treats in them (like the ones at Main Street bakery). Needless to say, I had no problem using up my birthday gift card this trip. I bought the gift card with the pin to use on our trip in Dec. I'm hoping some of the Christmas stuff is on sale then. Last year when I went the ornaments were 50% off.

I think men might have the "grumpy pill" automatically programmed into their bodies to just act up at any random time. Can't hold it against them since it's in their genes

Well I was about 10 pages behind but all caught up now. Memom it looks like you had a great meal with your family. Love the Mickey & Minnie salt & pepper shakers. The pies & pumpkin dessert look wonderful!! Love the pic of Brooklynn & Bella in the chair. So Cute!!! I cannot believe DH & I will be staying there in about 5 months. I think I will look just as happy sitting in one of those chairs.

Yeah...I know someone who's name starts with a C and ends in Y and is another name for red dirt that has this same problem. I so need to get him that shirt! I'll take the Tiki Lounge shirt for me.

The weather was great. It was cool in the mornings and warm in the day time. It was warm enough to swim at midday. There was no rain. It couldn't have been more ideal. We were lucky.

Disney on Ice was fun. Have you been to any of those shows? It's a nice little Disney fix.

Glad the weather was good for you, it was so hot when I was there I thought I would melt.
Never been to the shows, don't really like ice skating shows but the Let's Celebrate looks cute. Not sur eif I can go now, the timing is bad.

I think so, too, about the grumpy pill thing. They're sort of 'misery loves company', I guess. When they are mad or irritated, they like everyone else to share in that. Women just seem better able to tolerate little inconveniences or things that annoy them.

No telling what Jill and Brooklynn were talking about. Brooklynn probably asked her some very deep and thought-provoking question. She's a good conversationalist and very inquisitive.

No, really, she is not obnoxious about it, but she is a very smart little girl and is truly able to carry on an intelligent conversation.

I think it is just a man thing. I guess you just have to take the bad with the good, but when it's time for the bad, they can really be kind of jerky. Jill and I had been so excited about the four parks birthday deal, and he was just standing there calling it stupid. I wouldn't have dreamed of calling any of his birthday plans stupid, even if I thought they were. It pretty much hurt my feelings, and I was just wishing he would go on back to the room. He got over it pretty quickly, though, once he cooled down. He can't take the heat. After that, I don't remember any incidents for the rest of the day, so it was all good.

I've checked in on your pictures. It is so interesting to see the different ways the rides are set up. I picture the new Fantasyland looking something like some of those pictures you have with the castle walls and all.
