I got carded twice in WDW this month. LOL it was real refreshing. I shook the hands of both servers and thanked them for taking 10 years off me. That's going to come in handy in another ten years' time
It didn't happen at all last year. I usually find it's the younger cast members that ask.
Hey, Be fair... it's tramatic to go from feeling still like a kid in your 20's to actually feeling like an adult in your 30's. I'm sure you felt the same way if you remember back all those years ago ( ;-) )
The thing that i mind most amusing was the recent episode of HIMYM, featuring the Murtaugh list... and how true that is...
Like eating a whole large pizza by yourself. In college... easy. Now... dear lord would it hurt.
I used to go to vegas and be up for 3-4 days in a row... or be out driving around and end up 3 states away... Now if I am up 24 hours in a row, I feel terrible.
Hangovers are much worse... Sleeping on Sofa beds... I'm at the point if I can't sleep in a bed visiting a friend, I'd rather stay at a hotel. Just easier and so worth the money.
Now that I have a child though, I really feel more like an Adult...

I remember 30, 40 and 50. Lois and I generally assume that if it involves having fun (concerts, the cruise, etc.) we're the oldest people in the group.
When I turned 30 many, many years ago, I was visiting my grandparents at a retirement community. Suddenly, I didn't feel so old.
Ha ha I love HIMYM!!! Its my FAVE!! Yeah I am not scared about turning 30 at all, it was just a little inside joke between Jason and I. When he turned 30 it was a mope fest. I don't want him to ever turn 40 or 50 or 60 for that matter!

I'm the moper! I'm sure Shanan will reply later tonight, but I just wanted to chime in.I'm just like your husband... I moped BIG TIME at 30. 31 was a blur because of my daughter being born... we came home from the hospital that day.
My wife will be 29 this year, but handles birthdays with much better grace than I do.
We live in Aurora, right ont he borders of Naperville, Montgomery and Oswego. If you know the area, we live down the street from Waubonsie Valley High School.
My daughter, Faith, just turned 4 months a few days ago. She will be doing her first WDW trip in October and will be a month shy of 2 on the Podcast cruise.
