So, Who Is Going, and Did You Go on the 1st One?

Just call me by first name... Senor AWESOME! Sorry, slip of the tounge... I mean Michael.

That made me think of the Kim Possible game in EPCOT - we were chasing, or helping, Senor Senior, Senior and Senor Senior, Junior. Just really struck me as funny... coulda been the bellini from Italy... ;)

Heey stop complaining!!!! Thirty is a long time ago.....

I was just thinking the exact same thing.
Someone let them know that 30 is not old. If it is then I should be ready for the nursing home soon. :rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

Mom and I just returned from our week on the Magic. It was a great cruise, but we really missed seeing all of our new PodCast Friends!

We booked the same stateroom (7631) for chapter two. Can't Wait!!!

Which iten did you go on? How were the stops? Glad to hear you had a great time, just isn't the same without running into DIS'ers every where though is it :)

WHAT

You don't look a day over thirty nine

:p

Yes Maam :duck:

Althought I am quite quick when I need to be

;)

Someone is looking for trouble!

Good to know you can duck when needed - I liked you, but I'll still smack ya! Huh, what do you know, Bob was wrong - sometimes they can hit ya! :lmao:

Who was it after the martini tasting that said I couldn't have a 21 year old??? I owe him a $20!

And I love your screen name, Gav! Very clever... :thumbsup2

Had to have been me :lovestruc

It was really great meeting you Bill! Can't wait to see you guys again! :goodvibes

I understand completely! I too, will be turning 30 on this trip...;)

Be quiet Paul!

:rotfl2:

We are IN!!!!

It is me (the millionth Kim on these boards 35), DH (Ryan 35), DS (Evan 4 at cruise time), and my mom (Deb 60).

My boss gave me the time off of work and I am not passing up this trip.

This will be our first Disney cruise. (We have done Carinval and Holland America). So sad I missed first podcast cruise.

Kim

We are 99.9% in (can't secure my 2010 vacation picks at work until Dec 2009), but I think we'll be okay--everyone else wants the week between Christmas and New Year's off. In any case, I am booking it.

Oh yeah, I am the mom, Brandia & the dad is Jamie (both 30 something), Lorelei will be turning 7 the day after the cruise ends & Katia will be 3 1/2.

We are WDW veterans, but neither of us has been on a cruise before. We've been impatiently waiting for our youngest to be old enough for the kids club and when the dates for this podcast cruise were announced, we were more than happy (and willing to take the eldest out of school). It'll be cold here in Wisconsin by December--a cruise will be a welcome break.

We live in the Chicago Burbs... If we winters like the last two years, it will be all the more better to leave this cursed winter wasteland for sunny places.

I remember 30.

I remember 40.

I see 50 on the horizon :sad1::sad1::sad1::sad1:

I remember 30, 40 and 50. Lois and I generally assume that if it involves having fun (concerts, the cruise, etc.) we're the oldest people in the group.:confused3

When I turned 30 many, many years ago, I was visiting my grandparents at a retirement community. Suddenly, I didn't feel so old.

I got carded twice in WDW this month. LOL it was real refreshing. I shook the hands of both servers and thanked them for taking 10 years off me. That's going to come in handy in another ten years' time :thumbsup2
It didn't happen at all last year. I usually find it's the younger cast members that ask.

For those of us of a certain age, getting carded means trying to get a discount with our AARP card.:rotfl2:

Glad to see we'll be almost neighbors again.

Hey, Be fair... it's tramatic to go from feeling still like a kid in your 20's to actually feeling like an adult in your 30's. I'm sure you felt the same way if you remember back all those years ago ( ;-) )

The thing that i mind most amusing was the recent episode of HIMYM, featuring the Murtaugh list... and how true that is...

Like eating a whole large pizza by yourself. In college... easy. Now... dear lord would it hurt.

I used to go to vegas and be up for 3-4 days in a row... or be out driving around and end up 3 states away... Now if I am up 24 hours in a row, I feel terrible.

Hangovers are much worse... Sleeping on Sofa beds... I'm at the point if I can't sleep in a bed visiting a friend, I'd rather stay at a hotel. Just easier and so worth the money.

Now that I have a child though, I really feel more like an Adult...:scared1:

Darn Peter Pan complex...

Ha ha I love HIMYM!!! Its my FAVE!! Yeah I am not scared about turning 30 at all, it was just a little inside joke between Jason and I. When he turned 30 it was a mope fest. I don't want him to ever turn 40 or 50 or 60 for that matter! :rotfl2: :scared1:

How old is your child? What burb of Chicago are you in? Sorry if you have said this already and I just wasn't paying attention, I guess thats part of being young :rotfl:

Woo-hoo! Another Wisconsinite! What part of the state do you live in? Perhaps we can have a mini pre-cruise meet with those in the Chicagoland area...

Thoughts?

Greg, both you and Lois don't look or act a day over 29!

I'm just like your husband... I moped BIG TIME at 30. 31 was a blur because of my daughter being born... we came home from the hospital that day.

My wife will be 29 this year, but handles birthdays with much better grace than I do. :-)

We live in Aurora, right ont he borders of Naperville, Montgomery and Oswego. If you know the area, we live down the street from Waubonsie Valley High School.

My daughter, Faith, just turned 4 months a few days ago. She will be doing her first WDW trip in October and will be a month shy of 2 on the Podcast cruise.

I'm the moper! I'm sure Shanan will reply later tonight, but I just wanted to chime in.
We live in Arlington Heights, not too far from you guys. It's really nice having so many cool DIS'ers in the Chicagoland area, I think we just might have the other areas beat ;)
LOL... Bears v Packers game?

Oh yeah, IT'S ON!

I've got season tickets to Lambeau...

Jon

HOLY COW! I know people who are on the waiting list... they're hoping their grandchildren will be alive when they become available (they don't even have kids yet ;) ).

We didn't get to do PCC 1.0 but we are in for 2010!

Me, DH & DD 9

We did the Mousefest Cruise in 2005 this same week and it was a great week to be away. It was the coming home to nothing done for Christmas that was hard! :)

I can not wait to make some new friends to cruise with!

Heidi
