New Hotel Thread Here The First One Reached Its Limit-READ 1ST POST IMPORTANT INFO

I have seen the videos twice. Once last Wednesday or Thursday I think and this morning. Neither time did I see the actual clock. I just got the video and then at the top it says time is running out..... So I've never had any idea how long I have. Neither time was enough apparantly. This time I actually got my credit card info in but that was it.
 
Oh, my husband will kill me if I get into this today. But readingthat someone just got it pulls me back!!!!!!!! I'm thinking that if you have more than one window up with LMT on it it will not work for you. That is when people got hte messages saying "try the old fashioned way"

Nope I only have one window open. I think they are detecting that I am refreshing quite often.
 
I've seen the video TWICE today. First, 1 video and then 2:40 minutes to book. When I clicked the hotel it stopped/disappeared.

The second time it popped up and then gave me around 1:30 minutes I did my search, clicked on the hotel, clicked book, filled in the info and it said the PROMO was over.

I called customer service and she said the whole this wasn't going well. She said they tried to prepare for this but it wasn't going the way they thought it would.

She said she knew (as did LMT) that they were actually LOSING business due to this--and she didn't mean $$, she meant customers, future customers.

DONE.
 


In most "giveaways" there are lists of winners that have to be made available publicly ( perhaps not giving the real names, but some way to ID that the promo was legit). I have to wonder at the statement that there were many winners for Monday since until this a.m. I haven't seen anyone post that they won yesterday on any of the chat sites. Some people are seeing the timer and some aren't? Some are allowed to try and some aren't? This is worse than the "random" PIN codes and isn't worth the frustration. I'll never, ever book through this company even if they turn up with the lowest rates. If there are rules to be followed, then post them so everyone has a fair chance. I wouldn't even be on here but I'm home from work with a pulled neck muscle- today I'll read a good book vs. refreshing that site. Good luck to the rest of you. I'm sorry I ever saw the original thread and was gullible enough to think I might get lucky.---Kathy

Geez, if that is the case, I didn't have a shot! I was refressing on the 1/2 second by hand yesterday. I guess they detect that as an automatic refresher? It does seem that the people that got it this morning said they "had just signed on to check" Im just gonna check at certain times that I see from the videos and thats it. This is just not worth the worry!
 
If it's true that they are aware of the bad publicity that they are generating then they may do something to counteract that. Which means they may put it out there more in hopes of correcting some of the damage. I don't know. Maybe it is worth it to stay on some more and keep trying. I'm just not sure about this anymore. I cannot believe i missed it again. I was so mad at LMT for what they put me through yesterday that I was on for while refreshing today but then gave up and felt like I didn't want to do it again today. Figures, the one day I'm NOT online refreshing all the time they offer it at an actual decent time.

Yea, I wasn't refreshing when I saw it. I logged in real quick this morning then decided that I wasn't going to fool with it. I saw someone post that they had just seen it so I pulled it back up and logged in. That's when I saw the video. But it was probably quite a few minutes after the other person posted seeing it because I was catching up on posts when I saw that one. I can't imagine that it was in the same 5 or 7 minute time period.
 
It just ran for me for like 2 minutes...no time to finish.....boo hoo...I had something in disney too!!!

Hi y'all. I was just checking in to see if all the confusion had subsided. I know that I checked out of this yesterday, but I thought of something last night that I really thought should be brought up. I know it will sound like sour grapes, and I am really not trying to stir up trouble. I'm not. But has anyone that has actually confirmed their reservation also confirmed that the room is paid in full? And also, even if it is paid in full, can LMT go in 5 days before the trip and cancel this reservation? Do they have that ability? Or even worse, they take the loss of one nights payment (or somehow bill it on your CC) and you arrive the day that they canceled the reservation?

Believe it or not, this kept me up some last night, even though I don't have a reservation. I would really hate for any Disser to get taken advantage of, and I hope this doesn't happen. But the "F" rating from the BB and the LMT's employee's reaction when asked about that really sent up a red flag to me. I just don't trust the people that are running this "contest".

Please forgive me if I have made anyone mad..it wasn't my intention.
