***Epcot Food And Wine Festival Info 2008***

Can you pick them up at the food and wine festival or do we need to print them from this thread? If we can get them at the festival, where are they? Each kiosk?

I'm glad Deb's update on the booth menus was wrong. We are looking forward to the Creme Brulee in France and when I saw the sorbets listed on hers instead of the Creme Brulee I was quite upset. No hopefully someone will post pictures of the actual booth menus soon so we can see all the prices.

Ugh, can't we just stay in denial about the prices and how much I spend while there :lmao: ?

Nope, I make them. :goodvibes You can right click and save them to your computer. They are 4" x 6" cards.

Well, I'm almost done. :faint: Here are some more. The last batch will be up in a few minutes...

Ack, sorry I didn't scan the map! It was pretty much, come home, scan pictures, post, collapse into bed. The scanner is hooked up to DH's computer so I'll see if I can get something done asap but we have to leave for work in just a few.

And we're going to go check out what the festival beer is this year, but we're not holding our breaths that it's anything different from the Winter Lager. :( oh, and Jazcat, I would have LOVED some of the Imperial Pilsner, especially on draft.

Here we go, not the best resolution, but it's there :)

Thanks so much for positing this. BUT, am I missing something because I can only see booths 19 to 27?

Also, for all those travelling into Orlando for the F&W Festival, are the weekend crowds enough to keep you away those days? This is our first and I'm curious if F&W goers who are staying on property tend to rather go during the week and do other things on weekends. Although I did read somewhere here that the majority of tasting events take place on the weekends. So, if you please, a little direction from the experts would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks so much!!!

The other page is in this thread somewhere, let me look for the post #

That's odd, the other bit has gone, I can find the scan of booths 1-9, but the 10-18 have disappeared!!!

They are post #2409. For some reason my PC fails to load one of the scans.

I'm glad I'm not the only one. I just e-mailed WDW event services to request that they provide a link to the pdf file of the brochure on the official WDW festival info page. they had it last year after the Orlando Sentinal had scanned it & posted a link on their website. I haven't heard back from them yet.

I wanted to comment that last year, I was almost a victim of the Soup Nazi at Canada. The cast member filled the cup half way and considered it "full".
I politely asked them if they could please give me a full portion of soup, and they obliged.

I just commented on a post by lurkyloo, since she posted pics from today on her blog, and they gave her a FULL PORTION. :faint:

So I guess it never hurts to ask for the full cup of soup.

EEEEEEE!!!!! :cool1: I'm so excited I can hardly contain myself!!! :yay:

Thanks to all for the brochure & the pics & the scorecards!!!:goodvibes

Since there are only 5 Wine or Spirit seminars listed it does appear that they have cut way back on that type of seminar. Based on the scheduled times it would seem that there is only one venue allocated to the Wine & Spirit seminars. I guess we saw this coming.

Just wanted to mention that I'll be adding the prices to the score cards that have already been posted in this thread. I'm half-way done, but I've gotta take a break and get away from my computer! :headache: I'll be back later to finish them...

Have a great day everyone! :goodvibes

EDIT - Can everyone see the cards OK? Do cards 9-14 show up for you? It looks OK to me... but someone said that they weren't showing up in the post...

I agree! I didn't like the sorbets very much last year, so I'm glad it's really the Creme Brulee! :thumbsup2

This is the last of the rating cards! :yay: I didn't know what to put for the Brewer's Collection booth - so I will have to fill that one in when I find out what beers they have. :goodvibes Have a great time at Food & Wine Fest everyone! :dance3:

Cheers!
