"You're mocking me, aren't you?"-Final Update 11/8! :)

Aw Clarice, your TR looks great(:
I think I'll be doing one too, and I'll have to put up all the old ones I used to have.

I'm really enjoying your report. Great pictures...very pretty girls! :) Loved the Woody and Jessie story. My boys LOVE Toy Story! And MANY, many years ago Prince Charming did a similar thing to me. I have a picture...he was so cute. And thank you for reminding me that I have to study-up on the tricks for the Buzz ride. My husband is always kicking my butt! We didn't know about the tricks on our last trip, but he overheard someone talking in line and KILLED me every time. With my boys being such big Toy Story fans we ride that A LOT. It's the first thing they want to do again in September.

Thanks Jamie! Yes you definitely need to write one for our trip too! I can't wait to see all of your old TRs too:goodvibes

Aw thank you! You're so sweet. Toy story is definitely one of the best Disney movies. That's so cool Prince Charming talked to you too! He is a cutie. And definitely start studying tricks for the Buzz ride! If you find anything good out let me know! Have fun in September (And I hope you beat your husband's score when you go:lmao:)!

So after our exhausting but amazing day one at MK, we were up bright and early again for Animal Kingdom!!
DISNEY087.jpg

We got to the park around 9:15 im guessing. We stopped to look at the cute animals along the pathways by the main entrance then headed straight for EE! The line was very short so within about 15-20 minutes we got on. After we got off, we realized hey why not go again? The line was still pretty short so we rode a second time. After the second go around we got FP for it so we could come back for a 3rd time! After EE we decided to go on the safari! On the way to the safari, Jamie and I spotted Flik who had a really short line, so we had to meet him :) He was very funny and the picture turned out really great!
DISNEY076.jpg

After meeting Flick, we got in line for the safari, which was pretty long as I recall, it took at least an hour. It was worth it though, I loved seeing all of the animals, and Jamie loved seeing the elephants(they're her absolute favorite!!) We even got to see the new baby elephant, which was so adorable! We also saw the hippos, flamingos, giraffes, those cow things with the big horns, and of course the lions(which always seem to be asleep!) Sorry some of the pics are blurry, my camera did not like the safari ride at all :rotfl:
DISNEY068.jpg

DISNEY075.jpg

After the safari we decided to go see Its Tough to be a Bug. Now that you know I'm a thrill ride person...I was thinking to myself at this point “another show? Its probably going to be boring…I’d rather just ride EE again.” Lol Well, I ended up loving the show!!!!!! Jamie’s family really showed me how great the shows are during the trip. The ending of this show really freaked me out though! So after the show we ate lunch at Flame Tree BBQ which was very good. While we were eating our lunch, of course the ducks and birds joined us, just in case we dropped anything. Lol Well just as we were leaving to throw our trash away I dropped my tray and lettuce went everywhere! Needless to say the ducks/birds had a field day :rotfl: After accidentally giving the birds a nice meal, it was time to use our FP for EE. When we got there the line was 90 minutes, so we were pretty glad we had those FP! After EE for the third time, Jamie and I decided we wanted to meet some characters! We headed over to Camp Minnie Mickey but the lines for all the characters were INSANE!!! So we just got ice cream instead! After that we hopped on the train to Rafiki’s Planet Watch. This place was very cool. As soon as we got inside the building, Jamie and I ran to all of the characters, they all had really short lines so we had hit the character jackpot! First we met Pocahontas, who was really funny, she asked me if my Minnie ears helped me hear any better, but I told her no. She replied Oh, well if they did, I would have gotten a pair for Meeko! :lmao:
DISNEY078.jpg

Then we met Jiminy Cricket, who is one of Jamie’s favorites!
DISNEY079.jpg

After Jiminy we met Rafiki!
DISNEY080.jpg

After Rafiki’s we started walking over to Dinoland. On the way I believe this was where we saw DiVine. Okay, I don’t want to offend anyone here, but that thing is just creepy. She has this weird expression on her face and doesn’t really say anything and just stands next to trees, I didn’t really get it…lol. Sorry to anyone who thinks she’s great, I just think it’s downright scary. So after that, we headed over to ride Dinosaur! As we were approaching Dinosaur, there were CMs standing in front of it saying that the ride was down :sad2: We decided to go ahead and get FP for it, hoping it would be up and running later. Well…after we got the FP we started walking away, but then they started to let people in! So we quickly ran towards it and were one of the first people in line! Score! That ride is so much fun, I screamed the entire time and loved it :goodvibes So after Dinosaur I’m not really sure what we did…I guess we walked by the parade since I have pictures of it!
DISNEY084.jpg

DISNEY086.jpg

I think we rode Dinosaur again, then it was time for dinner at Rainforest Café!!! This place is so amazing, we used to have one close to where I live but it closed down. So this was a real treat getting to go there! Definitely the coolest restaurant of all time, T REX seems pretty cool too so I’ll have to check that out someday. So dinner was amazing and that was the end of our 2nd day! We got to bed at a decent time which was good since we had Universal the next day and WWoHP!!!!!!

Up Next: WWoHP & a 4 hour line...just to get in!?, Forbidden Journey= scariest ride I’ve ever been on, and short lines in the rest of the park!

Jumping in, loving the TR so far! :) Can't wait to see how much fun you had at the WWOHP!

Mulan is my all time favorite character as well. Just curious, what did Tiana say when you asked to take a pic with just Naveen? Did she pretend to be upset?

Yay! another Mulan fan! :thumbsup2 I'm not really sure what Tiana said, I believe she just stepped to the side politely. Naveen was just so surprised that 2 groups in a row wanted a picture with just him!

Sorry for the delay everyone! I've had cheer tryouts the past 3 days so I've been really tired lately (I made Varsity though so it was worth it)! Now back to the show....

So I’d been looking really forward to this day for awhile. When Jamie told me back in May we were going to Disney for 5 days and then Universal for one day, it didn’t really dawn on me till about 2 days later that we were going to get to go to WWOHP! We went less than a week after it had opened so I just knew it was going to be insanely packed! Well I was right, that morning we got there when the park opened, and we started walking to the superhero section, where the line started…just to get in to the WWOHP land…!!!! We asked an employee how long the wait would be and he said "I’m guessing at least 4-6 hours from here"…OMG:scared1:!!!! Well we came all the way here for it so there was no turning back! The line snaked around just about every corner you could think of and a lot of it was in the direct sun
After about an hour, we all decided to get some drinks after standing in the sun for so long. On the way back to our spot in line, I was putting my wallet back into my backpack when I realized the bottom of it was splitting apart and there was now a giant hole!!! I was so mad because I had never used this backpack before but I guess that’s what I get for using something cheap and also free! Haha So Jamie and I ran to go buy a new one because I could not hold my backpack upside down in my arms for 6 hours! The nearest place selling them only had Simpsons ones…and I was not wasting my money on one of those, no matter how desperate I was! So we ran all the way into the Jurassic Park area and I had to buy the only one there for $18!!! It was at least normal looking though and just said Universal Studios on it. So after that I was good to go! Haha Overall the monstrous line really only took about 2 hours, so it wasn’t that bad, it just felt like it took days! Lol Once we got in I had to take pictures of the castle and Hogsmeade!
DISNEY088.jpg

DISNEY089.jpg

DISNEY090.jpg

The Castle!!!!!!!!

It was so surreal actually being there! As soon as we were in we headed straight for Forbidden Journey, the line was 90 minutes! Ugh, the lines were never going to end here, were they?? So we got in line, and it took forever but we knew it’d be worth it. While we were waiting in line, I was getting pretty bored and I noticed a door next to me that said “Entrance to Castle Roof”. Well I decided to pull on the handle…and it opened! I screamed and quickly shut it, as I was totally not expecting the entrance to the roof to be open! The people behind us laughed, it was pretty funny. :rotfl: Although I wish I would have gone in…that would have been pretty freaking cool except I would have most likely been kicked out of the park if I did that…hahah So waiting in line took the longest in the greenhouse, but once we got inside the castle it was so cool seeing all of the things from the movies and the books. Here are a few things we saw…

Waiting in line!

Finally getting to enter the castle!

DISNEY101.jpg

The talking pictures!

Then we got to the point where Harry Ron & Hermione come out and it snows on you. It snowed right before we got in the room and started after we left it…:sad2: oh well! The talking pictures were very cool too! Then we got to the ride, and I’ll admit I was actually a little scared as I’d read online before we went that people claimed this was the scariest ride they had ever been on, ever!! I mean the warning signs in the line pretty much listed every single problem a person could have and why they shouldn’t ride, including people with prosthetic limbs and that they should be removed!!! Needless to say this ride was going to be intense!!! And intense it was…there were a lot of scary things, I don’t want to give all of it away but the dementors and the spiders really freaked me out…especially the dementors they were so creepy and unexpected. For the first time in my life I actually screamed the entire time on a ride!!!!
So after that thrilling ride we went on the Flight of the Hippogriff coaster, which was a little kids coaster and it was pretty cute. Then we decided to ride the Dragons Challenge coasters as it only had like a 15 minute wait!

DISNEY105.jpg

Hagrid's Hut!

DISNEY111.jpg

Me in front of the Hogwart's Express!

That coaster was pretty good, so after that we decided to take a midday break as we’d already spent half the day there! The lines in the rest of the WWOHP park were insane, the butterbeer cart was at least 30 minutes long and Ollivanders was so crazy it must’ve been at least another 2 hours for that one!
So we ate lunch at Cici’s, went to the townhouse and took a nap, then ventured back to Universal to hit up the rest of IOA!! The first ride we did when we got back was the Amazing Adventures of Spiderman 3D ride which was very cool! Then I believe we rode the Hulk, which was so amazing!!!! I love shoot off coasters like that, the feeling is just great :goodvibes
disney5.jpg

After that I believe we headed over to Seuss Landing and rode the Cat in the Hat, which is one of Jamie’s favorites, and it was very cute. Then we rode the Caro-Suess-el!

DISNEY121.jpg

Jamie on the Caro-Seuss-el....
DISNEY122.jpg

and me on it!

After that we went to Poseidon’s Fury, which was very cool, although Jamie told me the tunnel of water wasn’t working when we went through. I was excited to see that and we were all kinda bummed that it wasn’t working. But overall the show was very very cool and I loved the ending with all of the fire and water!

DISNEY126.jpg

Okay so after Poseidon’s Fury we headed over to ride Jurassic Park! There was absolutely no line at all, we walked right on to one of the boats and practically had it to ourselves! I love that one, especially the theme music! Then after that I guess everyone wanted to get even more wet and went on Popeye’s barge, this was the only ride I sat out the entire trip as I do not enjoy getting soaking wet… So then we walked over to do Dudley Do-Rights Ripsaw Falls, which was broken the first time I ever went to Universal. So I was really excited to ride it this time!....but it was broken again!!!! Ugh what is up with that ride?! We asked an employee why it wasn’t running and he said “I don’t know they just like shut if off 2 hours ago.” Grrr! Oh well I’ll ride it eventually :confused3
So after not being able to ride that one for a second time, we headed back to the Hulk as our last ride before the park closed! It was still amazing the second time! Definitely not my fave coaster but it’s in my top 5! So that’s about it for Day 3 and WWOHP! Very cool day and got to do a lot of cool things!! The next day was going to be our half n half day. In the morning we were going to do DTD and in the afternoon we would do, my favorite, DHS!!!!!!!!!!!!

Up Next: RNR=BEST ROLLER COASTER EVER!!!, Fantasmic...and a possible Shang sighting?!

Loved the update! SO jealous that you got to do WWOHP, the pics are awesome! I can't wait to go! (crossing my fingers for you to see Shang...) :goodvibes

Thank you!! WWOHP was definitely amazing. You'll love it!! and I'll definitely need all the luck I can get if I ever want to meet Shang! Just wait to hear my story...

Just found your TR and really enjoyed reading it and looking at all of the pictures. Looks like you really had a good time. Can't wait for more! Oh, and I love your Mickey ears.

Yay! Another reader :thumbsup2 Glad you're here! I had an amazing time. And thanks I really love my ears!:earsboy:

I was really excited for today, we would be doing DTD in the morning then, my favorite, DHS in the evening!!!!!!!!!!! I love DHS it’s definitely my favorite park (besides MK, lol). But we would be starting off the first half of the day at DTD as Jamie’s family doesn’t really like DHS that much:confused3 So we started off just browsing around some of the shops. We were in Tren-D for a while, they had so much cute stuff in there!! Then we went in to Once Upon A Toy, The Christmas Shop, the Pooh store, and the Pin store.

disney7.jpg

disney6.jpg

Having fun in the Pooh store!

After browsing for a while, Jamie’s mom and her 2 brothers went into the Lego store, so Jamie and I just wandered around. We were kinda hungry so we stopped by Ghiradelli’s to get some treats. They were so good, the chocolate there is amazing! So after DTD we went back to the townhouse, ate lunch, rested and headed out for DHS!!!!!!
We arrived at DHS around 2:45 and the BPB was just about to start, so we stopped and watched it for awhile.
DISNEY140.jpg

DISNEY147.jpg

DISNEY145.jpg

Lotso!

It was cute but I think the Stars n Motorcars Parade (although I’ve never seen it in person) would be a lot cooler. So after that we headed over to check out the wait times for Aerosmith & TOT. Well…they were both 80 minutes!!! But we decided to go ahead and get in line for RNRC anyways, and I was so pumped!!!! This is my absolute favorite ride in all of Disney...possibly the world!!!:cloud9:
DISNEY152.jpg

DISNEY154.jpg

DISNEY157.jpg

I love the little clip you get to watch when you’re “in” the recording studio. I love Aerosmith, they are my favorite band. As we got closer and closer to boarding I was getting so pumped!!! While we were waiting to shoot off, it felt like forever, I seriously think we sat there for like 2 minutes! Lol But man once we shot off that feeling was so amazing!!! RNRC is #1 on my roller coaster list because A) It shoots off B) I love the neon lights and the storyline and C) You get to listen to Aerosmith during the entire ride!!!! Can it get any freaking better than that?!!! So after the most amazing roller coaster ever, I bought a tank top in the gift shop because I had been wanting something Aerosmith to wear for awhile now. Then we headed over to TOT and waited another 80 minutes! This ride is pretty great too, I love the drops :D Now on the way down to Florida, Jamie told me this is the one ride she will not go on, that she absolutely hates drops so she will never ride this again…hahaha Well I forced her to go on it! Hahaah I felt bad but she literally held on to my arm the entire time! Lol In the picture from the ride she looked so terrified, while I was laughing and having a great time!

DISNEY168.jpg

After TOT, we went to see the Beauty and The Beast stage show. It was so good, I love that movie!

DISNEY170.jpg

DISNEY176.jpg

DISNEY180.jpg

As soon as the ending scene finished Jamie and I bolted out of there because we wanted to meet some characters before it was time to get our seats for Fantasmic. Jamie and I sprinted to the other end of DHS to try and find Cars. After asking for directions twice, we found them, but realized they didn’t do autographs. We decided to try and find another character spot and on the way we saw this…

DISNEY131.jpg

It says U+GOD=:) Now earlier that morning this guy was writing all sorts of religious stuff in the sky like Jesus lives and Jesus saves, as well as the U+God. Since Jamie and I already knew what this guy was gonna write, we started yelling out the message to the people just staring at the sky saying “what does it say???” I don’t know if it was the heat, but we just kept yelling to the crowds who looked confused. :upsidedow Anyways, we decided to go to the Art of Animation building and got in line for Mr. Incredible and Frozone.

DISNEY185.jpg

The line for Sorcerer Mickey was way too long :sad2: So after the characters we decided to run back to the other end of the park.
It was still too early to get our seats so I really wanted to ride RNRC again but the wait was still 80 minutes! TOT was only 40 so we got in line and rode it for a second time. I still have no idea how I got Jamie to ride that twice in one day…hahaha! After that we got in line to get our seats for Fantasmic. We were seated all the way to the far right and then had to wait 45 minutes for the show to start. While we were waiting, I asked Jamie if after Fant! We could ride RNRC one more time since its my absolute favorite. She agreed but said we’d have to leave the show early since the park closed at 10 that night and the show wouldn’t get out till 9:30. While still waiting for the show, the crowd decided to start a wave! It was so cool, I’d never been in a crowd before where a wave started, and I thought this was so amazing so I decided to film it (I found out later on youtube that every crowd does this before Fant! Hhaha oh well). So the show started and it was incredible.

DISNEY190.jpg

This show was definitely my favorite of the trip, but around 9:20 Jamie said we’d have to go now if I wanted to do RNRC again. I didn’t want to leave yet but I really really wanted to ride RNRC again…so we left…and I’d later regret this. The line for RNRC was still 80 minutes but we got in line anyways. After about half an hour, Jamie’s brothers joined us in line because they wanted to go again too. They were telling us about the end of the show and about how a whole bunch of characters came out on a boat at the end. I was curious so I asked them if Shang was there…the older of her two brothers said “Yeah he was there”…..What!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!????????????? My heart literally stopped. I asked him if he was sure it really was Shang, and he said yes, he had the ponytail and was wearing a robe thing. Well, that sure sounded like him, I couldn’t believe it……. I almost cried in line.:sad1: I think Jamie and her brothers were seriously worried I might pass out or something because I was close to hysterical. Lol I just could not believe that I had left the show and missed my probably one chance of ever seeing him. I finally calmed down I guess, although it was hard to enjoy RNR that time! I was glad that I got to ride it again though, no coaster beats that one. :goodvibes So we slowly walked our way out of the park and of course had to take one of these….

disney8.jpg

And that was the end of Day 4!

(After we got home that night, I scoured Youtube looking at all of the videos of the finale scenes seeing if Shang was in any of them but couldn’t find anything. I looked at a few lists of characters that appear in Fant! And Shang was listed on a few of them but that could be the Disneyland version...? I still to this day don’t know if he was really there or not, he could have been a fill in for another character that night or maybe he just appears once a year(and of course I missed it)….lol Oh well, I guess I’ll just never know:confused3)

Up Next: Typhoon Lagoon, insane waves, and be careful where you sit...:rotfl:

Hi! I just realized you started a TR. It sounds like you're having fun, but I can't believe how long you waited for everything! That's crazy! And WWoHP is just ridiculous. If I ever go visit it, it will be in the middle of January when nobody is there and it's like 40 degrees out. :rotfl: I can't remember if I saw Shang on the boat at the end of Fantasmic! but I don't think he was there. There's a youtube video that I just watched, and it looks like Mulan is there, but not Shang. He is also not listed to be part of the show in Passporter's Character Yearbook.

Welcome! Better late than never :thumbsup2 The wait times at DHS that night were crazy...and WWoHP was just way too insane. I agree that would probably be a great time to go!! lol Yeah I don't think Shang was there, I'm guessing my friends little bro mistook another character as him:confused3 Oh well, I guess I'll just have to keep searching!

What a great TR! Ive told DH that the one ride I wont ride is TOT if he gets me on it I will be very very surprised.
