Would you rather go out or stay in on a Saturday night ?

Do you ever travel on your own? How do you get around in major cities?

All my travel is on my own. In fact going on a road trip in 2 weeks (up the Oregon Coast). All my travel is by car, so I have never been worried about transportation. As for work, I have only had to travel by car for work for most of my career. My new position I travel once per year for an annual training/conference. I was with two others last year and we did take a lyft to the airport because the shuttle was getting us there 3 hours early. It was fine but I was with others. Funny is that I am not usually one to use being a single woman to prevent me from doing things. I walk around on my adventures and am never concerned. There is just something about getting in a car that puts me on edge.

I live in a small town, we didn't even have any taxi until maybe 10 years ago and have only had Uber/Lyft for about a year. It's just something I haven't been exposed to.

Since most of us are stay home these days. How about in your 20’s? Did you still prefer to stay in?
As far as I remember ;) I went out 3 or 4 nights a week in my 20s but not necessarily always on a Saturday. Then during my 30s our DS was little and we rarely went anywhere not family-friendly. It's really only been in the last 10 years that our social life has gotten back on track.

That makes sense, I was simply curious and I hope you have a great trip. Give us an update when you get back!

I've got four kids. I'm exhausted by the time I get home form work, and weekends are spent doing household chores. I have no time or energy to go out. I vote stay in. This way I can relax in my pjs.
