Would any of these Bay Lake Tower room requests make for a more enjoyable stay?

When doing early check in, it gives the following options as room requests. Any of these might provide a better view of anything? Or an easier stay?

Note: our reservation is for Lake View.

Higher floor
Lower floor
Near elevator
Even number
North side
Near skyway bridge

Edit: Based on feedback, we have checked in early (10/26 arrival) with a request for higher floor, even numbers.

Not sure of your party plans but when staying there we do like to comeback on the monorail so we would choose skyway bridge.

We walk to MK as Monorail has to go to TTC, Poly, VGF before getting to MK.

When leaving MK, BLT is the first stop.

Lower floor lake view starts on Floor 3. IMO, your view could be blocked by trees. My experience has been that the lower floor rooms are the ones ready at 4 pm. I’ve opted to wait for a higher floor room to be ready. I like floors 5 and up. 5 is great because it’s the floor of the bridge. So, I would request higher floor.

That said, for our most recent stay, a 3rd floor LV was available at 4pm and it faced the marina looking at the CR as opposed to overlooking the pool. I enjoyed it because you can see the electrical water pageant. I still had some blockage from trees.

Keep in mind, the refurbishment could lower the number of available rooms and location.

This may help. The even numbered rooms face MK and the Seven Seas Lagoon. The odd numbered rooms face the pool and Bay Lake.

Our 4th floor room ending in 04 had a side view of the fireworks. You had to stand on balcony to see them but was a nice perk. Our 7th floor ending in 42 had a nice view of CR and the SSL. 8th floor ending in 05 had a nice view of the Eleictric Water Pageant.

Our other rooms were TPV.

Another note. Rooms even number have a pie shaped living area which makes the rooms feel larger. The bar in the kitchen also has 2 stools. The laundry is just the stack with a door. The odd numbered rooms have a walk in laundry room which is nice for space /storage.

You should be able to find videos of this if needed, google has everything :)

I would call and request odd or even number, or section like rooms north facing or south facing odd or even. I loved the rooms facing CR because there was more action. The south facing was quiet but at least had fireworks.

Good point on this if OP has a 1 or 2 bedroom!!

I like having the 2 stools but also like the full size laundry room. We generally store our suitcases in there or the closet by the front door if we have a room with the 2 stools.

Hopefully the refurb will bring the lifted beds so that luggage can be slid underneath.

We also stayed in 7742, 7th floor ending in 42, and we loved the view of the lake and the Contemporary and is on the skybridge side of BLT. The rear stairwell is close by, I would walk down two flights of stairs, cross the bridge, and be at the 4th floor of CR in about two minutes, no wait for an elevator.

North side even will probably get you a view of Tomorrowland, and perhaps an oblique view of the castle, even though you're in a lake view room..

South side even will get you a view of the CCV cabins and two viewings of the electric water pageant each night.

Near the skyway bridge is very convenient if you have strollers and small children.

Since it was mentioned, we will be in a 2-bedroom.

It sounds like Even number might be the way to go?

For me, yes, because Lake View even number gives you the possibility of a partial Theme Park fireworks view!

And I think it also means you won’t get a view of the inside of the C, which can include a view directly across into the other side of the building.

Even number studios/villas are slightly larger which is nice. I like higher floor and even number. We stayed in 7708 lake view and had a perfect Magic kingdom fireworks view from the balcony!
