Wow the Wish horn is capable of a lot! Can't wait to hear what all it can really do!
Yeah, I am definitely not impressed by the Wish horns.. It sounds muddled. Imagine these organ sounds bouncing off the mountains in an island port.So just my opinion. This is the second video I heard of the horns. The first one was when it was still at Meyer Werft. After hearing this video I still believe that the Wish horns are not as good as the other ships. They are adding way to many horns especially at the end of the songs and it makes it sound like someone playing a bad pipe organ version of the songs.
Unless something is broken and they can fix it between more and the MVYeah, I am definitely not impressed by the Wish horns.. It sounds muddled. Imagine these organ sounds bouncing off the mountains in an island port.
I hope so. Her horns sound terrible.Love the idea of adding the harmonies/chords, but, I agree, it's out of tune and sounds like a mistake a kid made on his mom's organ. Nice try, though. I expect it will be fine tuned once they get reviews from passengers and crew (and guest performers) who actually have good musical ears.
Thank you for providing first hand accounts. Well dang then. I thought they sounded different but still kinda cool. With that and what we are hearing other stuff not working out on the transatlantic cruise, seriously hoping they pull it together. Get someone to take those horns and get them sounding like magic. I’m totally ok with the medleys sounding different, but I’m sure we all want them to sound good too. We’ll see I guess.I was there on Dream for the horn battle. It was terrible. Most of the Wish's 'volleys' were unrecognizable. After a bit, these of us up on deck 13 were looking at each other like "really?". Even the CMs were disappointed. Everyone flocked to the port side as we approached castaway cay & saw Wish in the distance. Passengers & CMs alike were excited and taking pictures. The horn "battle" was a letdown to say the least. Very cool to see her - she looks huge with her fwd superstructure stacked with concierge cabins.
