Wine and Dine Half Marathon Weekend (Oct. 31-Nov. 3, 2024)

Right, if someone who did the 10K can later explain the whole corral by letter and color thing, my old, tired brain would sure appreciate it ahead of the half. I saw on FB that corrals are divided into colored sections, they want people to get into their section with their entire party at once or you’ll be split up, and something a about a secret password if you need to leave for the potties and come back?!

One of the DJ’s said it was “perfect weather for a run.” I’m pretty sure everyone around me vocally disagreed. I guess this is Florida.

They separated out the D’s and E’s into color groups as you load in. No change for the A, B, or C groups. I guess it’s better then one huge group constantly moving; they can hold each subgroup until it’s time to load into the chute.

I am not running this year but started getting rundisney photos in my app yesterday. I just checked and it looks like I'm getting photos from people who have the same bib numbers my son and I had last year. If anyone knows 40093 or 24604 and they want their photos for free, send them my way! They look like they had a great time!

I'm also excited to hear about the subdividing of the later corrals! As someone who likes to get there early I never want to take a last minute potty break because I'll lose my spot.

Weird! The code to link photos is year specific. It seems like the photographer or someone in IT would have had to enter the wrong code to match the photos.

For all the Apple Watch users, walking around pool at the resort, got the wrist tap… closed alll my rings for the day, it’s 1:00 PM!!

Saw multiple bibs with 207XX and B.

Corral A was one release only and seemed to go through the 206XX. No waves.

Also very much enjoyed being in EPCOT with no walls! Hooray for progress.

Not that it makes much difference at all, but I’m pretty sure there were two waves in A. I was right behind in Wave 2 of B.
