We always go to Ohana's because it's a tradition and we do love the food. We have never been to WCC and was thinking of trying that instead. It seems like at WCC it just give you the skillet? Do they include a beverage and dessert like they do at Ohana's? It looks interesting and thought maybe we try it instead. Any opinions are welcomed!

You can do a skillet or order an entree/side. Beverages are not included.

Part of the fun of WCC are the "antics." Not sure if you are aware of that, so I won't go into specifics. It's more fun if you don't know. If you are shy or don't enjoy attention, just let your server know.

I think WCC is worth a try if you think you'd like that sort of thing. I don't think the food is a reason to go. It's fine but nothing special. To be fair, I feel that way about many Disney restaurants.

This is an apples to oranges comparison, IMHO. The atmosphere, food, theming are all completely different. As PP mentioned, WCC is a la carte - you can order a skillet or an entree, apps, etc., - beverages and desserts are not included. As you know 'Ohana is a set menu with beverages and dessert included. We really enjoy WCC (especially for breakfast) and prefer the price point there over 'Ohana as I don't particularly like a lot of what is now on the 'Ohana menu). If you are used to 'Ohana and want that type of atmosphere and food, you won't find it at WCC. If you want something completely different, WCC is great, IMHO.

They're so different. Completely different food. We typically prefer Wcc because the price point is better and there is an option to order an individual entree if you have someone who doesn't want/like what's on the skillet. Drinks are not included.

Now, that said, we typically have great service at WCC but we went there a few weeks ago we had dry food and really bad service. I don't think we'll be back for a while, at least not for dinner.

Skillets are all you care to eat, but they don't come with a starter, drinks, or dessert. You can add two of those for the price of one with their all you can drink milkshakes. And in addition to the skillets, they have a normal menu for people who want something different. It's not the all-in-one meal you get when visiting Ohana, but I personally like that better. All things considered, I'd go to Whispering Canyon over Ohana.

Wilderness Lodge is my favorite hotel in all of WDW and I love WCC. But if I had to choose one restaurant, I'd do Ohana every time.

WCC is decent food (at $43 bucks for the skillet now it's $20ish less than Ohana).

The Ohana food is better quality in my view.

I'm going this weekend and doing both because I couldn't choose! ;-) LOL

WCC is great, the food is very different at both places but the food at Ohana has taken a serious dive down. The atmosphere at WCC is also better now, they cut so much out of the Ohana experience we have no desire to return

We went to both in May. Our 'Ohana dinner felt rushed. The food was very dry. We did enjoy the dessert though. It was a lot of money for what we received (in my opinion). As always, each establishment has good and bad days. But, this was the second time in a year that we had a "bad day." We'll be taking a break for a while.

We love Whispering Canyon Café - but it's very different than 'Ohana. My family enjoys barbecue. The majority of the food in the skillet was yummy. A while back, dessert was included, but not anymore. We are water drinkers, and the water in the Wilderness Lodge has that odd sulfur taste. I combatted that by bringing flavor packets. Ha has. My son enjoyed the "all you care to drink" milkshake. It's a loud and boisterous experience, but we love it.
