WHICH PARKS???

Hello Everyone ~ DH and I will be in WDW in several weeks. We were originally planning a resort only trip but have been thinking about visiting a couple of parks. We are in or 60s so we usually take a day break between park visits to recover from all the walking . Given all of the changes and construction going on, we're looking for some thoughts on which two parks would be best to visit this time. Thanks in advance!

What resort are you staying at? Maybe part of the decision can be based on proximity?

AK and HS

Disney has a special 3 day 3 park ticket that is EPCOT, AK and HS. one of each park only. NO MK.
Disney has it direct or some of the other sites for a few $ off. Likely cheaper then buying 2 one day tickets.
In more recent times have a love hate relationship with MK. The first is easy the hate... well not young anymore and it has become increasing crowded....

If I were doing an adult only trip, I'd for sure be spending time at the World Showcase in Epcot. Really take the time to explore each pavilion, get some snacks & drinks. My second park would be AK - walk all the animal trails, sit a Nomad Lounge for a bit, ride the little train, probably do Safari a coupe of time

MK and Epcot

HS can be more crazy/packed
AK you really have to want to see the shows

I could see HS if you haven't been in years but for AK I would pass and come back in 5 years or whenever they finally finish the renovations of Dinosaur to South America.

I would at least recommend Epcot… not much in the way of refurbs going on right now, nearly everything is expected to be wide open this summer. Just be aware it will be lots of walking.

If only doing 2 parks and with your age range and interests I'd recommend MK and EPCOT.

If you really want to avoid crowds do AK and EPCOT. I don't think DHS is up your alley unless you like thrill rides.
