We are going the first of April. I will have my niece who is a limited walker. We will have her wheelchair for the parks but it is nice if she can walk to pool and dining. I am looking at SS ia preferred location, KW, POFQ but only the cheapest rooms are available and AOA Finding Nemo. Any thoughts? Thanks

AOA finding Nemo is right next to the main pool and lobby...would the skyliner be useful? I've stayed at AOA cars and loved it

You say MODERATE but then are mentioning Value, Moderate, and Deluxe resorts...

For a Moderate I'd say Port Orleans French Quarter.
Alternatively Coronado Springs but only in the Gran Destino Tower.

For Values I'd say Pop Century.

For Deluxe I'd say Contemporary.

To me these options are ones that you have the least amount of walking at the resort.

What parks are you going to though because that could be a better detimination of where you'd be better off staying?

You say you wouldn't use the Skyliner? Why?
That could more easily get you to 2 of the 4 parks without having to wait for buses that can accommodate a wheelchair (yes wheelchairs have priority boarding but the buses can only hold a couple so if there are several other users in front of you you'll be waiting for multiple buses).

The mods are pretty spread out except for POFQ. I'd choose POFQ over the other mods or SS for that matter. It's a deluxe but large. AoA isa value but Nemo is close to pool, food court and skyliner so that may be a good option for you if you csn swing the price of the suites.

I looked at SS cause we could get a one bedroom. But even a preferred I was not sure of the distance to everything due to the size. We are doing MK and one other park, either EP or HS. We stayed last year at All Star Music in a family suite, that was really nice but unavailable. So right now looking at POFQ, 2 rooms. I have looked at AOA Finding Nemo. Thanks so much

I agree with requesting Building 4 at POFQ. Probably the least walking you will do at any resort to get to food and transportation. It's been quite a while since I stayed there but I remember the back way into the food court being right next to it.

POFQ sounds like the way to go especially if you request the building nearest to the pool/lobby. Plus beignets are there.

My second choice would be Coronado Springs tower or Contemporary. Both are farther from the pool than POFQ, I think, and certainly more expensive.

If you were to stay at Pop or AoA, I believe you have to use the Skyliner to get to HS or Epcot, unless Skyliner isn’t running.

You need 2 rooms?? Then maybe the AOA suite may be better.

POR it our go to place. Some don't like it because they feel its big but we always stay in the Mansion section, close to a bridge and we dont find it too big. Its great that you can take the boat to Downtown Disney, a great place to walk or take your run. A fishing hole, carriage rides, Yeeha Bob and Boatwrights is an under rated restuarant. Its close to Epcot and is easy to drive to Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios. A Great Place

Even the cheaper rooms at PO-FQ will be fine. The more expensive rooms are toward the river and pool.

yes, we need 2 rooms which makes it cost more. Good to know about the garden view, I was concerned it might be further out so thanks for the info. I looked at the Finding Nemo suite and the microwave would be nice. I have a tendency to change my mind!

I booked a "regular" room at ASMusic last fall and was upgraded to preferred (Calypso). I was astounded at how close to everything my room was! If you need two rooms, that might be something to consider. I've also stayed at POFQ and really liked it. The resort is very compact and cozy, not much walking involved to get to the pool, lobby/food court, etc.
