Which is quietest restaurant? (Epcot area)

Looking for an upscale experience and seems like I can choose from Yachtsman Steakhouse, Trattoria al Forno, and Ale and Compass. Which is the quietest? Or are they all loud? Not worried about price (adults only trip, time to indulge!) but this will be for a dinner right after we arrive from airport.

Monsieur Paul and Shika-Sai in Epcot are quieter.

Mt DH and I ate at Trattoria Al Forno a few months ago. Crazy crowded, harried server, unpleasant all around. I know others love it though.

I can't speak to the others but Trattoria is DEFINITELY not quiet. I love it. It's great food and atmosphere...but not what you're looking for with quiet.

I would think Flying Fish would tick a lot of your boxes.

I’ve only been a few times but Ale & Compass has always been on the quiet side of Disney restaurants for me. (Aside from waiting in the lobby to get seated which seemed to take forever each time )

We had, quite possibly the best meal we have ever had at Yachtsman Steakhouse in October 2024. The wait staff was incredible, we were seated near the windows overlooking the pool area. As a group of four adults we thoroughly enjoyed everything and it was a last minute reservation! The aesthetic of the restaurant is not "modern" but it was lovely and at least for our meal... quiet (we were there around 8 pm till close).


For the record we began the evening at Flying Fish and it was so disappointing we left after being seated (and basically asking if we would be charged the reservation $10 fee). I have never in my life left any restaurant even outside Disney! We were seated by the door, it was loud, chaotic and as a group of four our booth with bench seats were of differing heights, so my husband and I were a full four inches lower than our DD and her husband lol. The restaurant was freezing, as we were near the air conditioning exchange. I ran to our room for a sweater and to change shoes (staying at BWV) since why bother wearing cute shoes if the meal was looking to be a bust. It was a cacophony of errors that evening lol. While gone our son in law (Mr. never complain) requested we be moved, so we were moved to a four top two feet away from our booth...directly in front of the air conditioning vent. Other factors played into it but I would be hard pressed to get my family to return. In retrospect I had built this meal up so much in my mind and was soooo looking forward to it. In the long run it was a disaster so we left.

Sorry for the long text... but maybe the best advice is to ask for a quiet area of the restaurant. Hope you love wherever you go

If you really want an upscale experience and cost is not an issue, I would suggest Monsieur Paul or Takumi Tei. Both are excellent. Short of V&A, Takumi Tei may be the best meal we have had at WDW, with Monsieur Paul a close second. Expect 3+ hours if you do the Omakase Tasting menu (highly recommended with the Saki pairing.
