Weird question. I didn't really think about it until now, but I'm confused as to where I should park during all this. On our arrival day, and after checking in at Pop, we plan on having a late lunch/early dinner at Beaches and Cream. So we'll need to go to Beach Club. After that, we're going to play some mini golf at Fantasia Gardens. And then we're going to head to the Boardwalk to watch the nighttime entertainment and (what we can see of) Illuminations.

Does Beach Club allow parking at the resort for dining, like other locations? Obviously I can park in the parking lot at Fantasia Gardens while we golf.. But where should I park my car while we're hanging out on the Boardwalk? :confused3

You can park at Beach Club for dining. Beaches and Cream is not table service - if the resort is crowded the guard may not let you in, but they probably will.

Never fear! You can self-park at the Dolphin (they may charge you) and easily get to all of these locations. It's closer to Fantasia Gardens anyway. Tell them you are going to get drinks at bluezoo and roam around.

The best place to view Illuminations spill over at Boardwalk is down near Jellyrolls.

Since your going to be ending in the BoardWalk area Park there. You can walk over to both Beaches & Cream and Fantasia Golf. :thumbsup2

Would it be ok to do that? I thought they only allowed non-specific resort guests a 2-hour parking window when parking at a different resort? I've parked a bit longer at the Poly with no problems, but I wouldn't want to go too far over the supposed limit. I've never been told I only had two hours to park, but I've read that on the boards a few times, so I'm just confused! haha.

park at the boardwalk. the boardwalk itself is a destination so you can park there even if not staying at the hotel

I didn't know that! Thanks so much. We'll probably be doing this, as it would be the easiest. :goodvibes

Just valet park at the Beach Club or Boardwalk. Once you pay for the valet, it is good all day and at the other resorts.

In other words, we valet parked the car at the Beach Club early in the day to eat at Beaches & Cream. We went back to our resort and then later in the evening we used the valet at the Boardwalk to eat at Kouzzina. Just show them your valet receipt and you will NOT be charged again.

I can kind of see what looks like a sidewalk by the road from the Boardwalk area going to Fantasia Mini-Golf, but I can't be sure.

Seems silly, but can anyone confirm that that is, in fact, a sidewalk? :lmao:

It looks like a bit of a walk. Does anyone know how long it would take to walk from the Boardwalk area to Fantasia Golf? I'm hoping it's no more than 15-20 minutes.

1- You'd walk over to the Swan, go thru the Swan (or across the "back yard area" of the Swan.)
Then, walk across the road to Fantasia Gardens.

2- 15 minutes, give or take, sounds about right.

They used to have a bus that would take you to the Boardwalk as a destination like Downtown Disney, Epcot, etc. but I don't think they do any more. I find the walk from the Boardwalk public parking area to the hotel to be a pretty good distance. I don't think I'd ever consider walking to the golf course and I'm considered cheap by my family! :)

We stay at the BWV each trip and I would say it is much less than 15 min. to get to Fantastia. Just walk over the bridge to the S/D and walk straight down the walk between the two and across the road and you are there. As for parking there have been reports on here that since DVC members no longer get free valet parking the parking lots at the BW are extremely crowded and you would probably have to park across the street behind the Hess station. Busy street to cross. Would consider valet.
