Park resort or other?

Oh boy that’s some cold weather for you. Stay inside and have a fire in your fireplace. I wish we had a fireplace in our house.

I wish you did too! It's a lot of work...poor David has busted his butt this weekend gathering firewood! At least he FINALLY started cutting up and removing the large tree we lost in the hurricane last July! :rotfl: It's been laying in the far back yard since it fell! It's so cozy in our family/kitchen area; keeps the area 4-5 degrees warmer than the rest of the house. We were just put under a Winter Storm Warning effective Monday, 6 PM until Thursday morning. Since we DON'T DO traveling in ice & snow like y'all do :rotfl2:, law enforcement is basically asking us to stay home during that time! :goodvibes Sara & Katie got back from Florida today and Amanda & Bryan are scheduled to be home from Phoenix by early afternoon Monday. They flew there Saturday morning to pick up a new kitten...a Maine Coon breed! I'd never heard of it but they're the largest domestic cat and Bryan has wanted one for ages. They're driving back and staying in Ft. Stockton tonight; will get on the road early in the morning and it's a little over 8 hours to get back to Bellville. We had a high of 43 today and it's already dropped to 33 so the "chill" is definitely here. :goodvibes

Attraction shop or food service?

OMG so cute. I love Maine Coon cats. They can get really big. They are popular up this way.

I'd never heard of them! Bryan has wanted one for years so he's a happy man. :rotfl: There certainly not very popular around here...which is why they had to go to PHOENIX to get this one. She was very timid and scared the first night but she's getting used to them and I can't wait to see her. They decided to drive home to ease the stress on her (and didn't want to have to deal with a carrier, etc. on a plane) but now they're fighting the clock to get back before the predicted ice/sleet/snow this evening. Should be home around 5 so keeping our fingers crossed!

On another note....

yes 3 more days will we leave haha

:mickeyjum Just in time for the cooler weather to arrive in Orlando! Y'all should have perfect weather for your time there! Sara & the girls really enjoyed the Festival of Arts so make sure you save a little extra time for Epcot to explore that. She's already planning on going back next year about this time! :tink:

Is it a wreath?

It was -11 on my way to work this morning 🥶

it is a bicycle wheel?

D-A-N-G -11 is COLD! Our 16 real feel makes my hands numb! We only had around an inch of snow but Houston got a little more. They have a HUGE mess though with ice under that snow. Both Houston airports had to close...runways covered in ice. May thaw a little this afternoon but they're not looking at resuming operations until sometime tomorrow. Some of the snow is melting with the sun peaking out a few times but that will all refreeze tonight when it gets to 20 and below in outer areas. We'll be back to normal tomorrow around 10 and back up to 60...with high HUMIDITY :faint: this weekend but the next few hours will be a lot of "slip and sliding" on the Houston roads!

This is a Christmas decoration but not a wreath and not a decorated bicycle wheel. :tink:

Oh you have quite the mess down in your area. 16 is very cold for you. That’s even cold for us.

We got very lucky! We were at the beginning of the storm; it's moved east and New Orleans had 8-10 inches of snow and it's even snowing ON THE BEACHES of Panama City, Florida! Even the Weather Channel reporters are amazed!

No Ma'am, not a water wheel. :tink:
