When will Extended Evening Hours be released for August?

Hi all,

When will the EEH be released for August?
Disney usually posts park hours 70 days ahead of time, day by day. That is usually when people, including the bloggers, find out that there is an EEH scheduled. There have been exceptions, but that is usually how it is done. The park hours appear on the MDE app before they usually appear on the Disneyworld website. Are you getting tired of seeing the word usually yet?

Its a 70 day rolling calendar on the app.

You can pretty much assume its going to be EPCOT on Mondays and MK on Wednesdays in August.

Do I recall this correctly- I believe I read on days with EEH they park is slightly less crowded during the day

I haven't noticed a difference.
Its not like MNSSHP/MVMCP where the park closes early and those with tickets get in before park closing so there's really no reason for guests to choose a different park if not eligible for EEH.
Same goes for EPCOT. The park is open the regular amount of hours and the EEH does not effect the regular guest experience so no reason to avoid that day.

The article might have been discussing the MNSSHP/MVMCP events.

And not all hard ticket events affect crowds during the day. It mainly only affects crowds in party days since the park closes early. After Hours doesn’t affect the crowds really since the park doesn’t close early. Those events are held after the park closes.

I'm also anxiously awaiting news on the return of Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom EEH during party season. I wish we could find out before party tickets were released.
