Hi - they actually came from the next town - they are more British that I am (I’m half Norwegian) this is not about nationality/ethnic background and I’m sorry if anyone thought that - it’s about manners and how to behave in polite society, re - reading my post I can see that it very much looks bad using the phase “back where they came from” it just never occurred to me the negative way that sounded - it was thoughtless and I’m sorry for any offence caused.
