This sounds just like my son!! I have to practically force him to eat breakfast and toss some food into his backpack for lunch (no lunch bag, it just floats around loose in his backpack)but when he comes home from school he does nothing but eat till he goes to bed!!!My son refuses to take a lunch bag or really any type of lunch. He skips breakfast too (he can barely crawl his butt out of bed and make it to the bus stop on time). Everyday he takes two water bottles, a juice box and a granola bar or two. He just throws it all in the top of his backpack as he rushes out the door. Between the time he gets home from school and bedtime he makes up for all those lost calories.![]()
I had to think about this for a minute because both of my kids use insulated lunch bags BUT... they don't use their lockers so one wouldn't "see a lunchbox" since they stay in their backpacks for the most part until they're seated at the lunchtable, and even then they probably don't actually pull it out, they just take the food out. At any rate, mine prefer a cold sandwich to a warm soggy one, so it works out fine and they're not embarrassed.High school- brown paper bag. I have yet to see a high school kid carrying any type of lunchbox LOL.
During middle school, they both used an insulated bag similar to what's been shown.
Once the oldest hit high school, it's brown bag ONLY!
