What are some of the best things to do in Epcot?

I want to hear all the LIVE music I can. I also try to catch a few LIVE outdoor acts.
I also love visiting the different countries gift shops and dabbing on some perfume.
I always go into the American Theatre to see the show ( and rest the feet). Nice bathrooms there too.

Epcot is my families favorite park. I have an AP and usually stay in one of the Epcot resorts so I can walk over there. I spend at least 2 hours each and every day of a trip there. I'm not ride centric but I do like to ride the rides in the front of the park. I spend way too much time in the Living Seas just looking at the fish (although I don't ride the ride there that much any more, I'm still salty about the re-theming to Nemo). I spend a lot of time in World Showcase. I go into all the shops, some of the countries have museums, some of the countries have gardens I like to stroll through or sit and just take in the garden, I like to actually watch the movies in China and Canada (not so much in France any more since they changed it to Beauty and Beast during the day, early mornings and late evenings you can catch the old movie). I love to take my time and look at all the details in the theming in all the countries. My (adult) son and I once sat on a bench right outside of the Italy (could have been Germany) pavilion for 3 hours just sipping a refreshing adult beverage and looking at all the theming. We started just wondering what the statues were depicting. My son hopped on the internet to look it up and down the rabbit hole we went. Love to stand and watch the live entertainment in the countries. Seriously, there is a lot to explore in each pavilion if you take the time and don't forget to look up. Spring time I love F&G Festival. All the topiaries are stunning, the butterfly garden is fun, I try to eat or drink something from every booth (have yet to succeed at that) and love looking at all the gardens throughout the park. Epcot (along with AK) is one of the best parks for just taking your time and enjoying the theming and the park itself and not worrying so much about running from ride to ride.

Pop out the International Gateway exit and take a ride on the Skyliner (not necessarily to visit the other resorts, just for fun and the view). We also like to walk to the ice cream shop at the Boardwalk.

I love the flower garden festival, both for the food booths and the topiaries. Food & Wine is the only festival I haven’t done but it’s high on my list to do next. Any festival is a great way to try different food and drinks and it really isn’t that expensive.

Soarin in a family favorite for a ride! And we enjoy a relaxing ride on Living with the Land, for something unique consider a behind the Seeds Tour at Living of the Land! We also enjoy Test Track (looking forward to the refurb)

We enjoy the unique experiences and performances in each country. Mariachi Cobre is a must do every trip!

Walk through Journey of Water at night. Catch Luminous!

  • Frozen
  • Soarin'
  • Get a sandwich at Les Halles--the bread is excellent!
  • Space cocktails at Space 220
  • If you have a MagicBand+, wave at the gold statue of Olaf--he says a variety of funny things
  • Festival food booths, displays and activities

my family loves Turtle Talk. Love the interaction with the kiddos. They say the darndest things!

Thank you, I am a sucker for a log flume ride and have heard this one is supposed to be pretty good. Is the popcorn sold at one of the stalls? Apparently the Japan shop is supposed to be quite good too.
Just as a heads up I wouldn't necessarily call it a "log flume" ride, a very gentle one for sure. Still fun though!

Also going inside the pyramid in Mexico is pretty awesome.
This. While the food @ San Angel Inn Restaurant is just pretty good, the atmosphere more than makes up for it. When I eat Mexican, I like the decor and vibe to be authentic.

Apart from guardians Epcot unfortunately seems to be my least favourite park and is probably the only reason I visit and then leave mid afternoon. As most of the other rides don’t interest me that much apart from maybe Remy and figment. what are some of your favourite or best things to do? I feel like that I’m missing out on half the park so any suggestions are appreciated.
Just explore tbh. Take it all in.

Of all the gift shops in WDW, Japan is among the very best.

It has not changed in a while, but the little museum there is kinda cute. As was already mentioned, there's also a small museum in Norway. There's also a third worthwhile one in Morocco.

If you happen to visit Norway when the creator of the Norway perfume Leila is there, he's really nice. his name is Geir Ness.

The small aquariums in the Seas are worth exploring. They vary and the area can be a bit hit or miss, but the baby tank area had some really interesting critters last month. (though not all of them were babies.)

In the Land, we always look to see what Mickey's Mini Gardens plants they have on sale. They don't seem to live after the jar is opened, but I have had some live for quite a while in the jar. I had a vanilla plant that lived for quite a few years. (You can see the jars in the lab area near the end of the ride).

The world Showcase is really pretty after dark, as is the Boardwalk area outside the back park exit.

If not a sandwich, then a baguette from Les Halles is inexpensive, really good, and just a bit out of the ordinary. They sell out. Also, the Voss water in Norway is worth buying, esp if it is a very hot day. It is the best water!

If you go during one of the holiday periods, they often have a scavenger hunt in the WS. If you want to officially play and get the prize, it costs money, and is a bit overpriced. But you can also just find all the hidden eggs/characters for free.

IMO, the food at the January Art festival is better than the other festivals with shorter lines. the F&W fest used to have a lot of free items long ago. During the spring flower fest, try walking through the butterfly tent/exhibit.

While you are over by the butterfly house, another slightly oddball thing is to use the restrooms that are on the back side of Imagination. They aren't anything crazy, just kinda retro Epcot.

The Moana water attraction is kinda cute, but be sure to take time to try the interactive parts for yourself. Also, at night, take a few minutes to explore the new area by where the Walt statue is. Maybe on your way out of the park.

Get a little free soda in Coke place.

I appreciate everyone’s suggestions so far has been a fun read. Looking forward to trying out new things !

Arribas Bros has a kiosk on the water side of the walkway outside the Germany pavilion where you can design your own plate or suncatcher or glass decoration. Its fun and you end up with a one of a kind souvenir. We went during the Festival of the Arts so it fit perfectly with the theme of the festival, but I think it's there all year round.

I just love exploring all the little nooks in WS where there are fewer people. The back area of Canada, the side walkways in China at the water garden, Bonsai in Japan, every shop in France and Germany, the show in America is a bit long, but great for an AC break (and sometimes a snooze), Catch a show in Britain, the mosaics in Morocco... So much to see if you slow down.
