From our weekend visit, the campground was packed we were given a site in the the 1900 loop which is far from all the activity, we were able to get an electric cart with no reservations :D .

I did not like the site, it was very narrow, but it beats staying offsite so I can't complain.

Finally did trails end for breakfast which was great.

Love the new camper, that slide room sure makes all the difference, we were not tripping over and getting in each others way.

I was a little surprised at the cleanliness of the comfort stations, one had no papertowels at all and just plain dirty, rusted doors, they usually check them regularly so i was surprised to see this.

Overall I can't wait to go back, we renewed our passes so we have some catching up to do at the parks.

Welcome back! Glad you had a good time!

The comfort station thing worries me! But, I suppose it's hard for them to keep good help, just like everywhere else. I hope they get on top of it though!

You finally tried Trail's End Breakfast!! LOL! We go there at least every other day for breakfast while we're there! :D

I'm mad!!!New camper and a trip...phooey on you. If we ever buy a new camper the only place that I'd break it in is Disney!! Thanks for the info on 1900. I think I saw in earlier posts of yours that you like 1400. We did too. I had posted here earlier to get a map (lost ours) so we could choose a different loop that wasn't preferred to save a couple of bucks. My 8 yo very adamant about only 1400!! Actually said," It is close to the movies, the pool, and the arcade, and place for you and daddy to get beer,(no coments please, I'm sure he meant food), lets not go to any other loop." From your experience, it looks like my 8 yo may be right. Find a good thing, stick with it. If it isn't broken don't fix it. Leave well enough alone. I'm sure you get the idea.

Congratulations on your new camper!!!!!

There are some good full hook up loops, I would not mind staying in the 1200 or 1300 loops also loops 800 & 900 are nice to. The 1900 & 1800 are secluded, so if you like quiet this is the loop for you, the sites are rather small however. we like to be in the middle of the action and yes the 1400 loop is our favorite - 1432 specifically which continues to be occupied by a huge Prevost conversion since our last trip in January, actually we noticed many people their that were there in January - I would love to stay in Fort Wilderness for the winter. i can't imagine how much it costs. But then if you own a million dollar coach it probably does not matter what the cost is :D :D

Were there any changes in the bus transportation at FW when you were there? Anything changed that we should know about? Thanks!

Did not notice any bus changes, same old routes, Chip & dale and Crockett & Boone

We also took the Animal Kingdom bus.

I have heard that Disney will change the buses to "Magic On Demand" where buses will be dispatch to rather than set routes, not sure of the details or even if true, and have not had time to ask :( I just cannot imagine how that would work - but with Disney anything is possible
