The official Castaway Club is the DCL name for repeat cruisers. Since Barb & Tony (the hosts of the website) have sailed so many times they consider themselves Platinum members. Thus the name of their website.

You don't need anything special to go look at what they have posted!

You become an automatic member of DCL's castaway club (return cruiser club) as soon as you sail once on DCL.


Barb and Tony's site is an independent site...not officially associated with DCL. They have a wealth of info from all their many cruises!!!! It is a great site. They just call it castawayclub.com because they have sailed so many times.

This thread gave me a chuckle!
Back in the early days of our Disney cruises, when we started going on a lot of them, I joked with hubby that we had to be the Platinum Castaway Club members. When I was trying to think of a domain for my website, I checked www.castawayclub.com just for yucks, and unbelievable, Disney had not registered it! So I bought it as a private little joke, never thinking my website would ever become so popular
