Any suggestions/ideas welcomed!

We are going to start at Animal Kingdom, bus to AK Lodge (?) and then bus to Magic Kingdom, monorail to EPCOT then boat or Skyline to Hollywood Studios.

Plan on having something to eat, a Mickey bar for my husband, ride one attraction and take a picture of or with one of the characters at each park.

What do you think?

You do not need to stop at AKL lodge unless you specifically want to visit. You could always take a bus to a Monorail resort, and direct park to park buses start at 10 AM.

I would skip the character picture and take a picture with Cinderella's Castle, Epcot Ball, Tree of Life and Tower of Terror. This would take less time.

I did something similar with the old FP system. I did a minimum of two attractions at each park. I went bus to AK, bus to DHS, Skyliner (or boat) to Epcot, and then monorail to MK. I think that it is a good idea to go to AKL for a bus to your second park. I spent quite a bit of time waiting in-between the AK and DHS. I did get to meet and talk to someone doing the same thing that I did, though.

we're doing 3...HS in the am, hang out at the resort, AK for supper and then to Epcot until close. Your plan is doable for sure, but you can def do more than one attraction at each. A lot just depends on par hours.

I would bus from AK to the next park. the buses going to and from resorts aren't so frequent in the middle of the day.

We did that on a recent trip! Rope dropped AK, then took a bus from there to Pop (was like 8:30am, so no park to park busses). Took the skyliner to HS, then boat to Epcot International Gateway, then monorail to MK to finish out the day. It was fun, we hit all the parks and all the transportation methods and saved some steps by just going one direction through Epcot.
