Using Points to buy/renew Sorcerer Annual pass

I wasn't able to renew or purchase with resale points. I am DVC-BY. Member services said it's like an exchange and can only be completed with direct points.

Or with those resale points that were purchased prior to restriction changes. The older resale points are 'blue card' eligible and can be used to purchase/renew APs.

To clarify, from what I was told, it’s resale points only purchased prior to 2012 that can be used for trades…not 2016 when membership extras kicked in.

It’s the points that must be eligible for use in the AP purchase.

You're right. Too many lines in the 'resale' sand to keep up with which are valid for what! I know a couple of our resale contracts were purchased and grandfathered for most extras - I think your pre-2012 date is probably the correct date for us (I'd have to check the actual purchase!). Didn't seem that long ago, but it was......

Just confirmed our eligible resale purchase was in 2015. Some of those resale points I used to purchase an AP renewal, combined with OTUP through MMB.

I used resale points purchased in 2014 for my new pass.
