I can really see them doing away with some of the central entertainment for 2025. The vast majority of people are going for 1 Epic day and will want to do as much as they can - that generally means getting on rides and seeing major shows. For the most part, people are probably going to use Celestial Park as a very wide pretty pathway. Which I'm sure they're seeing even in TM previews - most people would rather spend 20min to get on a new ride, than to stop and watch an entertainer with an unknown backstory. It certainly won't be high on my list my one day there.
When people can more easily spend a few days at Epic, there will be more benefit to street entertainment... until then, unfortunately, I don't think it gets the crowd appeal that Universal needs to keep it around.
