transferring prescriptions to CVS and getting gift card....

Ok, so the last time I was at CVS, I got a couple of coupons printed out with my receipt that says I can get a $25 gift card if I transfer a prescription. Ok, I have a couple of prescriptions at another pharmacy I can transfer. No skin off my nose. I was hoping to do it all online and then go to CVS to pick them up. I don't know if I would get the gift cards then or if they would be mailed to me but I don't really care which it is as long as they eventually come.

I went through (most of) the transfer process online but there was no where to put in the code from the printed coupon or anything. What I'm wondering is if I can do the transfer online and then turn in the coupon when I pick them up or do I have to do the transfer in person presenting the coupon and then also show up in person (potentially again) to pick up the prescriptions?

Has anyone done this before?

Transferring your prescription is easy. Just print the coupon and bring it to any CVS pharmacy with your prescription bottle, and they'll do the rest ...

I think you have to bring it in.

Walgreens and Rite Aid have/had a similar promotion that was $30, may wanna cheak that out.

You can transfer the prescription online or by phoning in and talking to the pharmacist. They do not need to know about the coupon until you go in to pick up the prescription. They will take care of that when you pay. You can only redeem one coupon per day though. You would need to transfer just one the first time and then do the other prescriptions on other days if you wanted to do it more than once.
