The Universal website {Orlando} says that from May 21-26 they hvae special night lights and music on the Hogwarts castle from dusk till park close. Where is the best place to hear the music and also see the lights? Can anyone offer any more details?

Just from my own experience, it's easier to get in and have the best viewing by coming in on the train station entrance (from The Lost Continent) into Hogsmeade. This has always worked out best for us, but others might have a different opinion.

The area around the stage in Hogsmeade (where they do the frog choir shows) offers a very nice view.

The first show of the evening tends to be very full, and if you arrive when it is at capacity they will have you wait. They let people vacate after the show before allowing more people into the area (about 20min for the show and crowd transition). Later in the evening you can walk through freely.

We did not plan ahead for this. Just stumbled into it. The show is so high up that where you are did not seem to be an issue. And it’s shorter than Wishes. We were there on a low to Med crowd day and literally walked up and looked up at the start. My nine year old could see just fine with plenty of adults right in front of him.

There is music playing, and the Sorting Hat talking over it.

Also think about the frog choir if your daughter wants to experience the music.
