Does anyone know the exact brand and level of pillow used on the Dream? My husband LOVES them. He found the website that sells them, but there are 3 types of pillows, one as low $25 and one for over $100.

I don't want to spend more than I have to for the same experience.

Haven't been on DCL in a few years, but staying at a Hilton I fell in love with a wonderful pillow. I went to Bed, Bath and Beyond and plopped my head on every pillow. Of course the one I picked was stunningly expensive, but worth every penny.

I'm a Payless/WalMart kinda girl, but this was definitely worth it.

I would love to know that website! Those pillows are awesome!! :cloud9:

I looked at the pillows on our Magic cruise last week and they said harborlinen.com I went to that website but they only supply in bulk to the hospitality industry. At wdw resort they have a website that lists 3 levels of pillows at the price points op mentioned. Is that what your husband was looking at maybe? I believe it is disneyresortcollection.com if we're talking about the same thing. I'd love to know which pillow is worth buying from there too. I'm dying for a good pillow and loved the ones at kidani.

The pillows are the New Generation Pillow from Harbor Linen Company. The phone number is 1-800-257-7858 or you can order from their website www.harborcareathome.com

Good luck,

are the pillows hypoallergenic? I am allergic to down pillows do we need to request this before hand?

is this a for sure? how do you know that? great info!

I was on the Feb. 20 cruise on the Dream and also loved the pillows. I was determined to find the pillow. I posted a question and received no feedback so I emailed Disney Cruise Line for the pillow info. They told me the pillow was by Harbor Linen and gave me their phone number. New Generation is the pillows name they gave me. I ordered off their website and received it within a week. Love the pillow!! It is a different pillow than is offered by the Disney Resort Collection. I already had those, I prefer the pillows from Harbor Linen. Harbor Linen does have more then one pillow, but the woman I talked with said the New Generation pillow is what is in the staterooms. She also said this pillow is used on Carnival Cruise Line. Good luck, I love my pillow!!

Thanks so much for this! I'm definitely ordering!!

This is why i just LOVE the Disboards... ask a question and answers just flow back to you. Can't wait to order this pillow for DH for Father's Day.

Thank you all for your responses!

I just got off the June 24 Dream sailing and realized halfway through it that the pillows there were WAY more comfortable than what I currently have at home, so I made a note to myself to find out what they were and get some for myself. Thank you so much for the info in this thread!

Wow! If they used the same pillows on the Fantasy (which seems likely), I have to report that I had a major reaction to them last month. And this was within a minute or 2 of lying back on them just to browse the Navigator!

I don't necessarily disbelieve the "non-allergenic" statement, but I wondered if the pillows were treated with fire-resistant chemicals, similar to how couches and mattresses are treated. I've been known to have some reaction to that stuff, so I concluded that it may be the same source for my reaction. Of course, with the pillows being so new, I think those chemicals are fresher and stronger.

Anyway, my allergy manifests as a squeezing in the windpipe, so we immediately removed the pillows and our Stateroom Host replaced them with those synthetic, foam, shaped pillows. My family wasn't thrilled with the replacement pillows, but there was NO WAY I could be near the regular ones.

Since the foam pillows were also likely fire treated, I don't know what to conclude. Bottom line, the regular "nice" pillows were a huge problem for me. (Maybe it's the micro-fiber fill after all???)

Just reporting my experience in case anyone else has this kind of allergy or sensitivity.

The pillows used to be from Wamsutta, and they still are sold online. I bought some at Macy's for $19.99 each recently. They are gel foam/down and boy are they comfortable! They come in three types from firm to soft. They used to be sold at Sam's Club but since I let our membership expire there I'm not sure if they're still available and it sounds as though they are not the same as the ones sold by Harbor Linen. We are sailing on the Fantasy in September and I'm looking forward now to checking them out.

I love the sheets they use!!!! They are Frette and very expensive. Does anyone know what the name of the sheets they use are (Hotel Collection etc.)? I know on a thread that someone said they were sold in one of the shops on board, Has anyone seen them and know what Disney charges? I am determined to get a set one day....maybe to go with the pillows???:rotfl2:
