THE GREAT POPCORN BUCKET "DILEMMA" - NEED HELP PLEASE....

Wondering, what in your opinion is the best way to land one of those popular DCL popcorn buckets once you get onboard?
Reason why I ask I last time I was on the Disney Fantasy for their "Very Merry Cruise," they were sold out of their top 2 popular popcorn buckets choices BY 5:30PM!!!
(UGH! ... and I had to 'settle" for one of their standard popcorn buckets).. lol

... and my next cruise is one of those Very Merry cruise and I would like for it to be "very merry" - lol

Any kind suggestions would be greatly appreciated -

Were they sold out at all of the locations? Were you on one of the last Merrytime cruises? I would go to the small stand outside of the smaller theater as soon as you can...definitely before 5:30.
