The GH Official Thread Part 3

Kristina has always been impulsive and entitled , but dang! And I imiagjne could argue post partum also has a hand and grief because she hasn’t gotten help for either.
She seemed like she wanted to redeem herself and drive after what she thought was Ava before the crash.
But she went back to bar and spoke to Molly like nothing happened. She was all over the place

She kinda had to since Lucky told her to and she was also obviously in shock.
I'm sure its gonna come out that she cut the breaks anyways so her and Molly's reconciliation is short lived.
I think everyone needed to come together and have an intervention with her and commit her before this also happened.
Alexis may have voiced her concerns but didn't take action.

Uh oh..Sidwell underwriting the entire Nurses Ball is going to cause waves.

Anyone else expecting Sonny to have one of his heart episodes and be one of the first patients in the new cardiac wing?

I half expect Ned and Tracy to go home tonight and find out that Monica has passed away.

I totally expect Sonny to be the first patient in the new cardiac wing. He'll get some miraculous life-saving surgery and his heart will be stronger than ever. Maybe he'll even get a heart transplant from a much younger person so that he can brag to his enemies that he's got this brand new stronger heart and will live even longer so they should be *very* afraid of him because he'll be around for many more years. Or something like that.

I'm not sure how soon Monica will pass away. I read that they're still working on writing/creating her tribute episode, so I guess they could have her pass away soon, but it will be a few weeks until they have her memorial; or they could wait a few weeks and have her memorial happen a few days after she passes away. No matter what, we know it's coming in the next few days or weeks -- they've been bringing her character in to the spotlight again so that she's fresh in everyone's mind when her character does pass away.

I felt like today’s episode kind of was a tribute to Leslie Charleson. You could tell that the actors were showing genuine emotion when they talked about her, especially Jane Elliott (Tracy) and Genie Francis (Laura) who both go way back with her.

(They’ve also made numerous mentions of Alan Quartermaine recently, and I don’t recall if there was much of a tribute to Stuart Damon when he passed.)

They killed Alan off before Stuart Damon died. So when the actor did die, they couldn't really do a memorial type show since the show had already killed the character off. Same with Luke's character, Tony Geary is still alive, when he passes the show really can't do a tribute show to him.

Maybe Sonny will suffer a major heart attack, need a transplant and Rick will be his donor.

Yes, it did feel a bit like a tribute even though it was written before Leslie passed away. The show has announced that they're working on a memorial show, so we just have to wait and see when her character finally passes away. I'm sure the actual memorial show will be very emotional.

Thanks for the info. LC passed over two months ago, and I don’t know how far in advance episodes are filmed. It did seem like Genie and Jane were getting misty, but maybe because she had been ill for some time in real life.

Episodes are taped about 6 weeks before airing and they are written a few weeks before that. So I'm sure she had already passed away when they filmed the episode. The episode was meant to honor the 62nd anniversary of GH's first episode and the anniversary of the fake hospital. They decided to honor Monica Quartermaine with a new cardiac wing as part of the 62nd anniversary of the hospital. They had planned for Leslie Charleson to be on the episode but she passed away between the writing and the filming. The executive producer, Frank Valantini, said a few days ago that they're still working on Leslie's/Monica's tribute episode.

Tracy was great in court.
What is up with that ADA?
Sidwell with Nurses Ball what could go wrong? Not to mention partnering with Deception .

Oooo Sidwell and Natalia scene and how he said she will never tell him what to do again , dang .

I knew there was going to be some interesting background for Marco, but I must say my jaw dropped when he arrived at Sidwell's door! Getting good....
Also, Joss' story is getting better now. Even though we all know it's far fetched (she's almost ready to graduate?!) And I think that other agent appears too old for her.

Ok I just have to ask; what the heck is with the PSA for kidney preventative care? I'm about a week behind, but holey cow Stella seems like a spoke person for kidney testing who somehow got lost on a soap opera. So odd; I don't remember anything like this before (aside from a. couple dancing with stars mentions, but those were a cpl. seconds, not days and days of it.)

For the kidney thing: I don’t mind it.
When Bobbie was alive, they did a storyline in her having diabetes.

back in day when Stone and Robin had HIV , it was addressed. And even Emma told Anna about how Alan was the only doctor who wasn’t afraid of her. Of course there is still the nurses ball.

Usually the character has it and then attention is put on it.

But they actually did a storyline of them having it so it made sense, but this thing with Stella talking to Lucy about it and the her Dr. just sounded so much like a commercial for some kind of medical thing and 2 old ladies advertising it and then 1 talking to their dr about it. I mean it's not a big deal, but just seems so out of place. I almost wondered if Leslie (Monica) had kidney disease that lead to her death or something and they were trying to pay some kind of education/tribute, but I don't think that's it.

IDK, just seemed so odd and went on for days about preventive care/testing for something random.
