Tastefully Simple Hot Spiced Cider Recipe (with alcohol)?

I have some Tastefully Simple Mulling Spice and I'm looking to make a hot cider with it for Halloween. What to put in it? Apple Cider? Apple Juice? Rum? Vodka? Brandy? Help!

Also, for all you TS experts...how much Mulling Spice should I use?
 
I heat up some apple cider and just put some cinammon sticks, ginger and cloves in there. Finish it up with some Jameson whiskey! :worship:
 
I've never used TS, but we do apple juice, cinnamon, cloves, ginger and rum. Yummy!
 
Did you check their website, they normally have a host of recipes for their ingredients.
 
I'm with TS - man I love that Mulling Spice! It hasn't been around for awhile - how long have you had that!?!? Don't worry, the shelf life is amazing on the spices.....anyway....I'd just heat up some regular apple cider, add a little rum (spiced rum, even better) and a little Mulling Spice. A little bit goes a long way with the Mulling Spice. Maybe a tablespoon per half gallon of cider? Top it off with some whipped cream, with Mulling Spice sprinkled on top of that. YUM.

Yep, but its a dicontinued product, so they don't have the info on there anymore!
