Super Walmart??

Someone mentioned that there is a super walmart where they bought some snack items. Where is that located? Does anyone have directions? Is it very far? I'd appreciate any info you can give me. We are traveling with 3 other families & I know we will all need to pick up some items. Thanks!!

Just have to say hi. We are 20 days and counting. See you are in Wis. My sister and family from Eau Claire are going with us. We live in the Cities. Hope we have wonderful weather. Anyway, I can't tell you where the Walmart is, but I know it is down there someplace. Have a great time!

it is on RTE 192 just after Midievil Times.
Not sure where you are staying, so, I cannot give you specific directions or tell you if it is far.

It is on 192 Irlo Bronson Memorial Hwy as you head into Kissimmee on the right hand side of the street...a huge Super Center, much bigger than our hometown one here. Prices are pretty reasonable and equivalent to our hometown prices and have found a lot of necessary items there before..they do have a pharmacy their also, and a bakery and an optical shop for emergency glasses repairs. Hope this helps and have a fun trip with all those folks.

It is right after mile marker 14 traveling east on 192. The easiest way to get there is to take Hotel Blvd (across from Downtown Disney), right on 535, left on 192, about 2 or 3 miles down the road on the right. The do have great prices, we always grocery shop there on our Disney trips (DVC members with a 1 bedroom villa).

What's so super about super walmart? Is that like comparing progress and Congress? They are opposites!

Thanks for all the help!!! We are staying at Dixie Landings. We should be able to find this pretty easily! We can all stock up on snack items, etc. I'm assuming they are open 24 hrs??????

Robin W.-we are from central WI. Right now, I'd have to say no matter what the weather is while we're at Disney it's GOT to be better than the weather HERE!!!!

My Aunt moved back to Chicago because she said the snow stayed on the ground too much of the year in Wisconsin, so it must be nasty. We stop at the Wal Mart every year. Good prices, really good Rotisserie chickens. Nice bakery. very crowded but lots of registers open. If you can avoid going on Friday or Saturday evening your trip will be far less hectic.

We thought that the Super Walmart was great. We spent about $100 for a week's worth of groceries for a family of five(we stayed at Ft.Wilderness). Much less than I spend at home!!

I'm in Stevens Point-not sure how far Black River Falls is from here.

We haven't seen the grass since November 15!!!! The thing that gets me through the winter is our countdown to Disney!

What's opposite of super and Wal*Mart. It is a supercenter, which means BIG.
It has great prices and it is clean.
It also has a travel center(good savings on passes for WDW) and a one hour photo (with very reasonable prices). IMHO, well worth the drive.

Just to clarify, Wal*Mart is Wal*Mart, but a Supercenter is a Wal*Mart/Grocery store combined, with a deli, seafood counter, bakery, along with other small shops. Many have vision center, hair salon, bank, florist, snack bars, etc. inside the store. Also, I believe ALL Supercenters are open 24hrs -- at least all of the ones in our area are!

I gotta chime in. THIS WINTER STINKS!! I am totally spoid from the last 2-3 years!! Maybe we should have a WI Dis meet to comeserate!

If we did there would be a blizzard that weekend. Without a doubt!!! We're supposed to be having freezing drizzle etc today.

PS-We're about 1 1/2 hrs from Marshfield-we are in StPt every summer. Spend the weekend there when we go to the car show in Iola.

I suppose we better head this back to it's WalMart origins.

PS-the Super WM on 192 is ALWAYS CROWDED. We ended up parking at the very edge both times we were there-once midday-once midnight
