Just approaching my 180 days for ADRs. So I was looking for the park hours but those are not up yet. Looking at last August and this year's Magic Hours. It seem to be less Magic Hours. Is this the case? Or is more to be added as the dates approach?

From what I can tell, it seems the following are what to be expected in August...

Sunday: DHS - Early MH

Monday: MK - Early MH

Tuesday: Epcot - Late MH

Wednesday: MK - Late MH

Thursday: Epcot - Early MH

Friday: MK - Early MH

Saturday: AK - Early MH

Is this correct?

There's only 2 Late Magic Hours?
No days with 2 Magic Hours?

Due to the opening of lands, AK and DHS had extra early hours everyday in the past. Do you think they may do this again during this summer?

It seems like Disney is shifting away from EMH and doing paid events like Extra Morning Magic and Disney After Hours.

The basic emh schedule hasnt changed in the past couple of years. Since pandora opened it has been pretty stable. Now and then they change Sunday am up but for the most part what you posted has been and will continue to be the schedule u till something forces a change. The addition of after hours and emm paid events also have continued to expand and as long as they stay popular and keep the numbers very limited I think emh stays as is for the long term.

I also think this has to do with the park hours.
We’re there in August as well. Magic Kingdom is open late several nights,
Until midnight. So, I don’t think they’ll add later hours.
Last August they extended the hours for most of the parks (or that’s how it felt). DHS was opening every morning at 7 and was open late every night?
I don’t know, but it felt like we had a bunch of long day options?

That seems about right. As others have said, MK will be open until midnight some nights as it’s normal schedule, and ticketed events make EMH a little harder to schedule.

We were there last August and AK did not have daily EMH. HS did, due to TSL opening but I wouldn’t count on that happening again this summer.

Curious as to how you know what time MK is open until in August. Right now, Disney has only released hours through the 27th of July.

I think OP is making a comparison to last year’s hours for a rough idea as a starting point for planning.

We've gone several times in late August over the past decade. The EMH always seem to be released late compared to other times of the year. Most of the time I was able to guess correctly based off of the previous year, but there were a few times where I was wrong. If you have Park Hoppers it's a little easier to go with the flow (of the EMH). I think there were only 2 or 3 days our last trip (14 days long) where nothing was going on after 10pm.

What I meant was, many people who have longer vacations than one day like to do all their reservations at once, rather than one day at a time. You'd think they'd be at least 180+7 days ahead.

Yeah, it would be helpful, I agree. Before the most recent MDE format change a few months ago you could "see" the calendar 10 days ahead in the "My Plans" section, but they took that away - frustratingly.

Interesting that there are no evening hours.

I assume you mean PM EMHs? The only 'regularly scheduled' (loose term) PM EMHs are usually MK on Wednesday PMs and Epcot on Tuesday PMs. The other two parks have not tended to have PM EMHs on a regular basis at least in terms of more recent scheduling trends (outside of special runs around land openings, special runs for any given reason, etc).

At least for the last several years... outside of major openings like Pandora and TSL... I miss the more routine late EMH in other parks as well...

But I see they’ve added A BUNCH of DAH during my MARCH trip... how nice of them to be willing to take my money on all those nights... ... :rolleyes1 :D I’d expect some in Aug as wel.

Question, where are you seeing Aug DAH events? I hadn’t seen any information posted about more DAH at any of the parks past the current April dates yet. Something new out?

SORRY!! My mistake!! I’ll edit my other post — DAH was for a late March trip — I confused our trips!!

Last Aug they did have MK DAH during our trip — I’d expect that this year as well — they’re only adding to them, it seems...
