Storytellers Cafe - Closed in December????

Does anyone know if Storytellers Cafe is closed in December. I have been trying for the last few days to book a dinner there but it keeps saying its not available. Anyone know any details.

They’ve been behind in posting availability. Don’t expect it at 60 days out, especially for special events. There wiill be a special Holiday season dinner.

It seem that the hotel restaurants hold off their reservations for "holidays" until later. Halloween was the same with Goofy's and maybe Storytellers as well.

Looked again at the website and it has just posted that the special holiday dinner buffet bookings will be available from October 10. Wish I had of known this before I got up at midnight to try and secure a booking. Oh well, c'est la vie. I just wish they would also post something in regards to the Princess Breakfast that is also currently showing as not available for some reason. Guess I'll just keep checking.

From what I am reading and understand you will be able to book Storytellers for dinner in December on 10/10 which will be a special holiday season buffet. When you check in for your dinner you ask to be upgraded to the WOC dinner package. Evidently there is no place within the online booking system to reserve a Storytellers WOC dinner reservation you just make a normal reservation at the restaurant and then upgrade on the day of your visit.

I totally agree, I was going nuts when I couldn't find it. I even set an alarm and woke myself up at midnight (I live in Australia) to make the booking only to find it wasn't available. It wasn't until I got up the next morning at 6:00am (11:00am LA time) that they posted the message that bookings wouldn't be available til 10/10. Seriously they either have a blanket 60 day booking rule or they don't. If they knew in advance (and they must have) that they were not going to release these bookings til later why didn't they post the message weeks before so people would know. I really get so frustrated with Disney some times, for such a big organisation they really are terribly disorganised. Okay rant over and a new wake up alarm set for the 10th.

I love how Disney has a rule....60 days out for dinning except sometimes and then its a random drop and hope you get a time you want...

They were late for thanksgiving as well this year…
And entertainment is also not yet in the system…(just fireworks and I am very happy that’s at least scheduled ever day…
And I am also happy that’s after a couple of days they announced that it would open late (today) I haven’t wasted even more time last week trying…

I was refreshing like crazy at 6am… because I only have a very little time window to book a character breakfast in our departure day… and I would love to show my mom storytellers…

I am just glad that I didn’t wake up in the middle of the night or ridiculously early to try… it’s afternoon for me thanks to the different time zones…

Got Brunch when we are going for Christmas time. My try Dinner the next time we go, if they think we can get a WOC upgrade

I'd just be scared of getting to dinner and them saying they sold out of WOC tickets
