Spinning Restaurant - does it exist at WDW?

So....DH is convinced that when he was at Disney when he was younger (he doesn't know what year or how old he was) he ate at a restaurant that was on the second floor and moved in a slow circle.

Any ideas? He thinks it was at Epcot.

Yes! It's in Living With The Land and is called The Garden Grill.

Any good? I am trying to figure out our last table service dining credit and that was his input. That he remembers eating at a spinning restaurant. Great input, right?

I love Garden Grill. Fantastic character interaction (Mickey, Pluto, Chip & Dale.) And I really enjoy the food, very fresh, and all hearty comfort foods. YUM!

well you should!

garden grill at epcot in the land pavilion slowly rotates.
btw the food is delicious in my opinion.
and i enjoyed the character interactions there than any other character meal. i especially ike chip n dale.

Depending on when he went, The Garden Grill was formerly named The Good Turn Restaurant from 1982-1986 and The Land Grille Room from 1986-1993.

This is one of our favorites. The food is served family style and is really good. The characters were so much fun. Chip kept "flirting" with my oldest and when we went to leave tried to take her away with him. It is well worth the cost in my opinion.

Is Garden Grill better than Sunshine Seasons.

Sunshine Seasons is a huge food court. Very good food selections, but still on!y a CS. Garden Grill is an AYCTE, family style character dinner. So yes, its better.
