Good day everyone!

Looking to gift a couples massage for wifey (and myself!)

I was looking at the Tenaya Spa at Grand Californian , but not sure after seeing some reviews? Also , it's VERY pricey!

Does anyone have recent experience here?

Does anyone know of any other massage services in the area? Not much is showing on Google Maps or Yelp?

If you are looking for something outside of the parks, Burke Williams is a nice spa four miles away in Orange.

Spas are always pricey versus massage only places.

I like Tenaya Stone Spa. I haven't had a massage there, other than what comes with a facial. You get a spa experience there. You have access to a steam room and a relaxation room. The relaxation room has some light snacks and infused waters. You can order tea. The last time I was there, I saw several people ask for the tea after their massage, stating that they didn't have time to drink it before and they were given it. The official description says we can use the relaxation room for 30 minutes prior to the service. I saw people using it afterwards, too. It would be too crowded if everyone decided to hang out there before and after.

I like that they have showers and everything that you need to go along with your shower. They have lots of things out (hairbrush, mouthwash, deoderant, etc), but they also told me if I needed anything else to ask and they would get it. They said whatever you have in your home bathroom is available there. Since I am a certified massage therapist, I know that most people don't realize that whatever they smell like is magnified by 100x at least to the massage therapist. I like being able to know that I can clean up quickly before getting my service.

i love tenaya! its nice and ive always had good massages there. i love relaxing after on the bed type chairs with a fresh hot tea and blanket they provide and the showers are nice too. ive gone 2x for a mother to be massage too and those were nice.
