Songs that say "time" in them

Pablo Cruise Worlds away, found the album by mistake in summer of 1982, in the army, bought a record player, album at book sale, probably my most all around favorite album, such a a variety of music styles on one album. This song had been knocking at my brain all day and i finally answered.

"Worlds Away"

It's hard to see the end when you're beginning
Time goes by, you start to see the light
Step by step, you follow through
When always in your mind

You wanna be worlds away
Worlds away

Oh, the days keep on getting longer
The desire to leave keeps on getting stronger
So time has come to cast away
And get into the sun

You got to be worlds away
Whoa, we wanna be worlds away

It won't take a lifetime
Just take your own time
As long as you get there

Worlds away
Yeah, you got to be worlds away
Yeah, you wanna be worlds away
Ah, you know you wanna be worlds away
Worlds away, yeah

In February, the musical adaptation of the Prince of Egypt came to the West End in London. This a new song, Footprints on the Sand, Mozes' 'I want'-song.

{MOSES}
The second son–
My father's wrong
It's got to be the easiest role on Earth
Just play around
Just play along
Enjoy the bounty of my birth

So what's today's amusement
For this second son?
Which one shall I choose from so many kinds of fun?
Which one?

I could ride one of the horses
Go and shoot some arrows
Take a sail on the royal barge

But standing in the shadows
Of these statues of the Pharaohs
I see the contrast couldn't be more stark
Their deeds forever known
In story, song, and stone
While I won't leave the faintest mark
Like the humblest of slaves
I won't leave the faintest mark

Footprints on the sand
Ripples on the river
Wispy drifting clouds
That blow across the desert sky

One day, we are here
And the next, we vanish
Vanish in the blink
Of an ibis' eye
We vanish in the blink
Of an ibis' eye

It’s not that I want glory
Or the world to know my name
But maybe just to leave things
A little changed from when I came

But it’s not my lot
Use what you’ve got
And all I am is

Footprints on the sand
Ripples on the river
Echoes of a sound
From a distant fading chime

One day, we are here
Next I know, we vanish
But I’m a fool
And so, I like to fool myself
That I’m

Not just footprints on the sand
But someone who’ll leave footprints
On the sands of time

back to my teen angst again, last night waitinf for my 6 hour time pain pill, these songs came up...angst is a terrible thing to waste

Bread

Make It With You"

Hey, have you ever tried
Really reaching out for the other side
I may be climbing on rainbows
But baby, here goes

Dreams, they're for those who sleep
Life is for us to keep
And if you're wondering what this song is leading to
I want to make it with you
I really think that we could make it, girl

No, you don't know me well
In every little thing only time will tell
But you believe the things that I do
And we'll see it through

Life can be short or long
Love can be right or wrong
And if I chose the one I'd like to help me through
I'd like to make it with you
I really think that we could make it, girl

Poco ~ Call it Love
"We've got all night, lets take our time
Tell me your secret, I'll tell you mine
If it makes us feel better,
(call it love)..."

"Never Found The Time"

I never found the time
To see things quite through
I never found the time
To give them to you

If living don't come easy
Don't stop your own voice
'Cause the worst part of living
Is havin' no choice

tell me a story
Tell it with your eyes
I'm gonna stop believin'
If I hear another lie
Drink some cold water
Your mouth's getting dry

If I only had the time
To see things right through
I'd give up all my treasures
And send them to you

Then livin' would seem easy
No lights and no noise
Just me and my lady
And the echo of her voice

sitting here, watching boring NFL. what i would be doing this fall if not in Yuma....why watching trains go by along the Hudson river...angst came again with this song that I heard many times along the Hudson river in the early 80s as a single solider.

stephen Bishop, Tootsie movie

It Might Be You"

Time...
I've been passing time watching trains go by
All of my life
Lying on the sand watching sea birds fly
Wishing there would be
Someone waiting home for me
Something's telling me it might be you
It's telling me it might be you
All of my life

Looking back as lovers go walking past
All of my life
Wondering how they met and what makes it last
If I found the place
Would I recognize the face
Something's telling me it might be you
Yeah, it's telling me it might be you

So many quiet walks to take
So many dreams to make
And with so much love to make
I think we're gonna meet some time
Maybe all we need is time...
And it's telling me it might be you
All of my life

I've been saving love songs and lullabies
And there's so much more
No one's ever heard before
Something's telling me it might be you
Yeah, it's telling me it must be you
And I'm feeling it'll just be you all of my life

It's you, it's you
I've been waiting for all of my life
Maybe it's you (it's you), maybe it's you (it's you)
I've been waiting for you all of my life
Maybe it's you, maybe it's you
I've been waiting for all of my life

Automatic - Miranda Lambert

Quarter in a payphone
Drying laundry on the line
Watching Sun Tea in the window
Pocket Watch tellin' time
Seems like only yesterday, I'd get a blank cassette
Record the country countdown, 'cause I couldn't buy it yet
If we drove
All the way to Dallas just to buy an Easter dress
We'd take along a Rand McNally,
Stand in line to pay for gas
God knows that shifting gears
Ain't what it used to be
I learned to drive that 55
Just like a queen, three on a tree
Hey whatever happened to,
Waitin' your turn
Doing it all by hand,
'Cause when everything is handed to you
It's all only worth as much as the time you put in
In all just seems so good the way we had it
Back before everything became, automatic
If you had something to say
You'd write it on a piece of paper
Then you put a stamp on it
And they'd get it three days later
Boys would call the girls
And girls would turn them down
Staying married was on the way to work your problems out
Hey whatever happened to,
Waitin' your turn
Doing it all by hand,
'Cause when everything is handed to you
It's all only worth as much as the time you put in
It all just seems so good the way we had it
Back before everything became, automatic yeah
Automatic
Let's pull the windows down
Windows with the cranks
Come on let's take a picture
The kind you gotta shake
Hey whatever happened to,
Waitin' your turn
Doing it all by hand,
'Cause when everything is handed to you
It's all only worth
As much as the time you put in
It all just seems so good the way we had it
Back before everything became, automatic yeah
Automatic

Keith Urban and Carrie Underwood - The Fighter

'Cause you're precious heart is a precious heart
He didn't know what he had and I thank God, oh, oh, oh
And it's gonna take just a little time
But you're gonna see that I was born to love you
What if I fall (I won't let you fall)
